Dear Dr. Shemirani,
I can never tell you how thankful I am for all you’ve done. You truly make it worthwhile no matter how far your office is, because I believe I found such a remarkable and devoted doctor. Through long hours of looking for a skillful doctor, I am so glad I decided to call your office to make an appointment.
I am more than content with your amazing work, and I know my lips are going to look like what I have had in mind for so long. The best part is that my boyfriend admires my swelled up lips, though I’ve been following the recommended after-care procedure in the booklet Taylor gave me before leaving your office.

So since I've gone to the right expert for the first time I haven't had bad experience with injections!
Yes his assistant Taylor applied numbing cream before the procedure. I can't imagine getting fillers injected into my lips without numbing cream haha

since I had half a syringe of Juvederm left from 8 months ago, I decided to use the left over with Perlane.
Now you might be wondering why I chose perlane... because it's a thicker and longlasting filler which will give me the pouty look I've been wanting!
Perlane normally costs $50-100 more than the suggested lip fillers (Juvederm or Restylane) because it's longlasting.
However keep in mind that I did not use perlane by itself! Dr. Shemirani used Juvederm in some parts to even out my lips and Perlane to give it the pouty look.

OMG looks amazing. did you get 1 or 2 syringes of juvaderm? What was the pralaine for?
I used half a syringe of juvaderm(left over from my previous session) mostly for my top lip and one syringe of perlane for the center. Perlane has thicker material and its usually used for the cheeks but if used with juvaderm the results look much better than just perlane by itself because it really does enhance the size of the lips; restylane is also another great option for those who want more volume than a natural plump
