Two Thumbs Up for Dr. Markowitz "Way Up!"

At some point most "maturing " women look in a mirror and find themselves tugging at " this" and adjusting "that" on their

faces. I did. As time marched on, this became a more usual mirror-gazing- occurrence to stretch my skin back and picture how I might look without all the slack.



Oh..my spirit was willing but my confidence in finding just the right "fit" for THE surgeon ( even the word plastic was a turnoff)

had my head spinning. Where do I go? Whom do I trust?



I went on several consultations but came away feeling like I was being "pitched". Moreover, my fear of not looking like "me"

scared me silly. My goal was not to change my face . My goal was to enhance it.



Then one day I received a referral from a highly respected dermatologist suggesting I see Dr. Bernard Markowitz. From the moment I entered his understated office, I felt a sense of calm. It was obvious this doctor was tasteful. Even his staff was classy and fresh faced . Nothing artificial or "staged" about anyone

or anything in this environment .



From that first consultation until two weeks AFTER my surgery, the attention to care from Dr. Markowitz and his team was

sustained. If anything the care and interest in the outcome of my face lift increased with each day prior to surgery AND post surgery.



As example , a nurse did NOT take out my stitches...no! Dr. Markowitz took out my stitches and those of other patients on

Saturdays or Sundays ..depending on when the stitches needed to come out ! He did nothing at his convenience . It was all

about what was best for his patient! Ask yourself when was the last time you ever heard of or experienced a surgeon , plastic or otherwise,

personally removing sutures?



Dr Markowitz listened and understood what was important in terms of my aesthetic goals...and did just that . His work and process

surpassed my expectations. I look like myself with a "just rested" aura. Yes..aura..because I feel particularly lovely now...and it shows!!!!
