I had a 360 Facelift (tm) and NeckLace(tm) - Dr. Brent Moelleken's trademarked procedures - forehead lift, brow lift, upper bleph, CO2 laser, nose job revision, and revision on my pierced ears, which had been pierced too low many years ago. He is Harvard and Yale trained, and an absolute perfectionist. 12 days after my procedure, no one -not even my closest friends - knew I had anything done. They just said I looked great. I was in MINIMAL discomfort, had no bad effects from the anesthesia, and a quick recovery - this is the ONLY surgeon I would ever trust with my surgery. I've done the research. I've gone to other surgeons. Dr. Brent is the best - period.

Thank you for your comments. I have been researching facelifts for a couple of months and keep coming back to Dr. Brent and two other doctors, each with different approaches. I like the idea of the incision being inside of the ear. I find many, if not most, are doing the incisions in front of the ear which to me is a dead giveaway you have had something done. My only drawback is his fee and I live in the midwest. I have found a Dr. in Mexico who only charges $6500 for his fee and $1800 for recovery stay and 3 nites in the hospital following surgery. From the before/after pictures I have seen, the recovery time looks brutal. Most patients are still bruised and swollen after 4 weeks but are presentable with heavy makeup. The length of recovery scares me a bit. How was your recovery period? Were you badly bruised and swollen? To me it seems logical that the more gentle a doctors is with tissue, the less problems afterward. Are you going to post before/after pictures? Thanks again for your post.
