I had this surgery January 18. , so I am now about 3 months out in recovery. I am undergoing a bit of laser to help diminish some scars on the left side behind my ear. However, everything could not be better. Early in the process, I had a very lovely and noticeable hematoma on the left side. It sometimes happens. Dr. Brent attended to this situation immediately and followed it closely, for quite a few mornings. I was his first, before the doors opened, client. He also went for decisive action when the healing was slow and, on the spot scheduled and performed a mini surgery to flush out the area so that healing would be faster and less uncomfortable for me. It did delay my progress a week but it was so worth it. The pictures with the more dramatic bruising are because of this issue. So, just to be clear, I had a healing issue come up and I was quite concerned, even terrified at the time. Yet, Dr. Brent and his staff did all they could to remedy it quickly, comfortably and put my anxious mind and face, at ease.

I had a few unexpected life events that just drained the very life force out of me. The tell tale signs of sadness, even though I had begun to heal emotionally, were still written on my face. The heavy, drawn look of being pulled down to the earth's core and gravity were present and inescapable. I thought perhaps a few facial procedures might soften it all. I thought I could perhaps hit the "gently refresh" button, if I could only find a Plastic Surgeon that would understand and be more conservative in the outcome. I was terrified of the "Beverly Hills" face. Not the pulled taught one of years past, but the overly puffed frozen chipmunk cheeks one, of today. I am terrified when I walk into an office for a consultation and every lady that works there is obviously heavily "adjusted". Needless to say, I had quite a few consultations until I found my "Super Doctor" Sr. Brent Moelleken.

Like so many of us, I spent a great deal of time researching my PS and interviewing quite a few before making my decision and choosing Dr. Brent Moelleken. After all this is my face we are taking about! It was important to me to find someone in this vast land of choices, that would "get" what I was looking to accomplish, a gently refreshed face, still me but ultimately, imperceptibly tailored, to give the impression of being well rested, no longer tired and dragged down by life. I also wanted my doctor to be relatable and not on his own personal mission to give me the "Beverly Hills Face". I choose exactly the right man. Dr. Brent is easy to be around, sets you at ease, listens and gives you his honest opinion about approaches and outcomes. You get his undivided attention. He is patient, explains the process and is extremely generous with his time. I consider him very skilled in his craft and he even has a sophisticated sense of humor as well. His staff is exceptional. I always got immediate and personal attention, every single time I came into the office. Penny, is so compassionate, honest and diligent. She knows her stuff. She got back to me asap and addressed every issue, question or anxiety quirk, I had through my surgery and recovery. She is absolutely, to the core, a truly lovely person. Crystal is the first bright and smiling face you see and somehow she manages to always make scheduling my next follow-up visit with ease and tailored to my needs. The office is staffed with real ladies ...ladies. And my husband, who was by my side for every visit, continues to want to go with me to the office. He found Dr. Brent to be approachable,and relatable, He personally met us, more than once, before the office officially opened, to handle a few unexpected issues that came up. To put it simply…my husband just likes him as a person and loves that he gave him back his wife, still very much his wife, but gently refreshed.
