Facelift and Tummy Tuck: Great Results from a True Artist! - Beverly Hills, CA

At 52 years of age I was in the best shape of my life. I took good care of myself through exercise, a healthy diet and a positive attitude. Yet I was self conscious about the loose skin on my tummy (from weight gain in my 30s) and would find myself looking at the rearview mirror in my car while lifting my cheeks saying to myself "what if I could look like this again?" Earlier this year I decided to stop wondering and do something about it. I had a mini-facelift, neck lift, live-fill injection in my cheeks and tummy tuck. I spent one night at the after-care facility and went home the next day. The pain and bruising was minimal (my ears lobes were the most sensitive from the sutures but I stopped taking pain meds on day 5). I actually went to a party for a couple of hours 5 days after my surgery (with face make-up to cover bruising), and went back to work 15 days after surgery. The first time they took the dressings off from the tummy tuck I was a bit apprehensive, but I couldn't believe how good my tummy looked. When my boyfriend saw me he said "You look like a 20 year old!" I was really good about following Dr. Moelleken's orders, and I think taking Arnica and Bromelian really helped with the healing. The hardest part was not being able to work out for 6 weeks, but I didn't want to do anything to jeopardize my healing so I did what I was told. The scars from my tummy tuck healed very well but I'm also doing some laser treatments to help lighten them a bit (I am olive-skinned). People who don't know I had a facelift cannot tell I had any "work" done, they just comment on how great I look! The results are so natural, I am so happy I did it and my only regret is not having done this sooner.
