For those ladies who've done butt implants with Dr. Stanton in Beverly Hills, can I ask about the recovery ? I see many posts about 2 weeks of Pain, as well as nerve pain coming down your legs or calves. When you take the pain meds that were prescribed, does it alleviate the pain ? Next question, do the meds make pain go away so that you are able to Sleep at night ? Did any of you attempt to sleep on your backs or sides ? I really appreciate any responses, my surgery is coming up at end of the month, thank you !

Hey , so I had my surgery on Thursday June 2nd. I got 500 CC ovals. So I'm in day 3 of recovery . So Dr Stanton does prescribe pain meds and if you take two you'll fall asleep for sure . I do everytime. But sleeping is hard . I'm someone who is used to sleeping on my sides and back and although the post op instructions say you can sleep on your back you'll be so sore it won't be comfortable to. Plus you'll be adding extra pressure .

Hi i didnt get my work done by Dr Stanton. I went to Dr Driscoll at D4 Boris off. I do want to say make sure u get a pee cup from your doctor because u cant sit and pee u would have to stand. Also make sure u have enough pads for ur bed and things. Check out my real self page for more information. If u have questions let me kno ok.

The best way for me to describe my personal recovery is "uncomfortable " . And yes I have had pain in my thighs kind of like the feeling that I need to be stretched , as if my muscles are tight. Also idk why but I don't seem to have an appetite so taking the meds is hard because I need food in my stomach so I'm constantly forcing myself to eat. But my mobility is just 3 days has increased. Things are getting easier

Exactly! I agree... I would describe it as uncomfortable than painful. The pain is bearable specially if you take your pain Meds it would put you right to sleep. After day three the pain starts to go away and it's more of like a pressure on your butt (knock on wood cause I'm still recovering). After like week two the pressure lowers and its just some discomfort because you can't bend down, sit for long period of time, walk normally and things like that... N don't sleep on your side cause you're not supposed too. Everyone heals differently but with the oxy they prescribe you the pain is elevated a lot

Hi. I had my butt implants done by Stanton almost 6 weeks ago now and just remember it's really the first 10 days that are horrible but it's all worth it. Dr Stanton and Mindy did tell me at my consult that this is literally a pain in the ass surgery and to be ready for it and I thought yea right it can't be that painful. I was wrong. To be completely honest day 2 through 10 I cried every day. By day 3 I asked my bf to call the dr and ask to take them out bcuz it was so painful (he lol and said yea right and didn't call) the Percocet just kept the edge off for about 2.5-3 hrs. I took 2 about every 3 hrs. U can't sleep all night the pain does come back every few hours so whoever u go with will need to help u get up and get more pain pills throughout the night. I also has Mindy call me in some anxiety medication to help me sleep at night just for the first 5 days. I believe it was Atavan. I would ask for that. It doesn't knock u out to sleep but just kinda relaxes your body enough to sleep a few hours. Sorry it's so long just want to try to help u be in the least amount of pain bcuz I wasn't prepared fully when I went out there for my surgery. I think most forget to tell us how painful it is. Ok so then also something I wish I would of brought was ice packs. Omg I used them when I got home on day 6 and they make it feel so much better. Bring like 3 big ones with u so once one of them melt u can have another one ready. Make sure to place a thin shirt or towel between it and ur skin tho so u won't get an ice burn. Ok so lastly not everyone gets the pinched nerve. I was unlucky and did get it on one side for about 4 days from like day 6-9. It did hurt hella bad but not all day just from time to time again and after about 4 days it was gone. I think I've only ready about two other women got it besides me so u most likely won't get it. I had Lipo on my sides so I sept on my tummy the first week and after that on my sides too. Not my bad. It's still not comfortable to lay on my back. To sit down is ok tho by like week 2-3. After the first ten days all the pain is gone. Just feels like a little sore muscles like after a good workout after that and they already are looking great after the 3rd-4th weeks.

The pain isn't bad if you stay ahead of it by taking your pain pill on time, before you start to hurt. Don't take it with your antibiotic, though. And take it with a little food, even if it is just some peanut butter or a little bread so it won't upset your tummy. The pain meds helped me a lot. I slept fine at night and I can't sleep on my stomach, so slept on my back. Dr. S. said it was ok. Put a pillow under your knees and maybe one under your back. Try to elevate your butt a little if you can.
