Post-Operation Day 3! Ladies and Gents, I'm...

Happy Dappy
WORTH IT$8,000

Post-Operation Day 3! Ladies and Gents, I'm feeling fabulous! I went to Dr. Kim and did the umbilical approach and WOW, the pain has been very minimal. I was off all my pain medication by Day 2, but I have a high tolerance for pain.

My stomach was really sensitive Day 1 but now feels almost back to normal. I was really surprised that my pain levels have been so low since I got such large implants, but I think Dr. Kim is very gentle. My augmentation took only 45 minutes and my breasts are so even, I went under the muscle so it will take some time for my implants to drop. I love my boobies already!

So I have to ask once u dropped did u boobs look bigger? my implants done on 11/30/11 look about like yours and I'm hoping after they drop they will look bigger

I got my implants done Dec 27th. so I'm only a couple weeks out and they have dropped a lot. I'm a 32 dd and I think that once they drop given the new shape they will fill out larger bras. If you go to the Just Breast Implant forum you can find people with similar experiences. In about 90% of the cases, once they drop they fill out a larger cup size. For me, the size is perfect.

Thanks for posting your story and photos here on RealSelf! I agree that you looked pretty before, but the after look is nice, too. Did you go with saline or silicone implants?

It's been six weeks since surgery and I feel like myself again. I feel great! My breasts are slowly dropping and they are looking very pretty. As they are dropping and fluffing they are growing. Im fitting into 32 F nicely, Victoria's secret 34 DD works but is a bit snug. I still fit into all my XS clothing and it looks great. They don't look to big with clothing over it in my opinion. They look like a full D clothing over. But then again im wearing sports bras. I can do everything I could do before surgery except lift heavy things over 10 lbs...doctor's orders. I was really worried that the implants would have an effect on my immune system and health but actually I feel a lot better now than I did before surgery. I feel a lot more confident. I don't have to wear uncomfortable push up bras.

AA I would do with something smaller because you can see the implant more probably around 250-350. There is no size limit it's all dependent on how natural you want to look. You can always find a surgeon to do something like that, not a problem, the question is do you want the implant to show?

Btw, you can shrink up your boobies like 3 cup sizes in certain bras so don't worry about people noticing. With me, my pics i look huge but in actuality I can look like a B with a certain bra on. Or I can look like a mutant with a padded bra. It's fun how you can flip back and forth. It's all what you want people to notice. I spent the weekend with my sister and she didn't even mention anything about my boobs and she always does, like oh, "they look bigger"...nope nothing (slightly insulted). Saw my mother same thing, she touched my shirt and I was worried she was going to notice and then she said, "Is that the lacoste symbol?" Anyways, don't worry ladies if you're worried about the judgements from other people.

Wow, first off this is a site to help others who are interested or getting surgery. Not a place to critique other people's decisions. If I knew people were going to do that I wouldnt lend put personal information about my situation. Real Self, I'm disappointed that you don't track what others are saying. Ladies go to Just Breast Implants Forum if you need support and advice about the surgery.

As for your comment - I don't hate you, just don't see why you felt it was necessary to waste your keystroke. First gather some facts before you judge, first off - Why don't you actually take a closer at the photo and realize I am sitting down taking a close shot of my body, I think any breasts at this angle will look bigger. Hahaha, it's fine, I agree they look really large, but under clothes I look like a C - D cup.

Hi there! We do monitor comments. I agree that what butterhoney said wasn't very supportive, but it stops shy of being abusive and, hence, is still within our guidelines.

If you're happy with your size, try to focus on the many ladies here who are supporting you!

Thanks Angie. I'm sorry, I didn't mean those things about real self, you guys were my number #1 source to go before I went into surgery. I really respect the hard work you guys put into making a very informative website with supportive members. I was just a bit angry in moment.

Hey guys! They are starting to look really pretty and natural. I think if I had gone bigger on my frame they would have looked more fake, which is fine, but I wanted the droopy natural look. I'm 5'5 and 118. I will post more photos soon, every week I can tell they are settling in more and more. When they drop it looks like they are coming off the wall of my chest. I feel great and confident, in workout clothes I finally fill out the sports bra part lol. Btw with a sports bra the cleavage it creates gives a fake look because it pushes them high up

Congratulation, and good for you for standig up for yourself! We come here for support and not for critique. You look real good, and for your height and weight I think the size is just perfect! If you go smaller than what is the point of having an augmentation?? Please update your picture as you heal!

Thanks!

Sorry if you mentioned this before, but what is your age? What type of profession do you have? Was your choice of breast size related to a job in the entertainment industry? If not, did you weigh any concerns about this change impacting your career advancement?
March 13, 2012
Very early 20's, work in Marketing at a start-up. At my age I should be in school still (I graduated early). In short, I'm an overachiever.

I was wearing a miraculous bra at the start of my career - after aug I look exactly the same under clothing. Now they are mine! >

hi happy, so how long after did you start hitting the gym? im eager to get started, i don't want to gain any weight. it took me 11months to get rid of 40lbs. don't want to gain none of that back. and you look like you pretty much stay in shape u have such a tiny waist 'im jealous..lol but u look great chic. we're the same height but i weight 152 alot more then you and my implants are bigger then your but they look like they even me out because im a pretty thick girl. well still looking to loose about 15lbs. so we'll see how that goes..
March 13, 2012
Wow! 40 lbs congrats that's amazing!!! How did you lose the weight? I started going to the gym aggressively two weeks ago. 2 hours a day w/ weights...however I do not lift (w/arms) at all. I do just about everything else. So 2 months post op. before that I was super exhausted. Keep in mind though I had tuba, (belly button) so my surgery was very easy no stitches to worry about etc. I think for people who have stitches it's not the best idea to go hard because of blood pressure or something, I can't remember why but just look it up, if you do have incisions.
March 13, 2012
thank you. i lost it just dedicating some time to myself at the gym really, i love to eat so im still working on my eating habits..lol but ive been stuck and trying to get this last 15-20 lbs. so when im able to go back im going to do it hard. im kinda looking at my implants and thinking that maybe i should have gone bigger :/.. i thought they were going to look alot bigger then they actually do. but maybe when they settle and i loose weight they'll look bigger. don't get me wrong tho im happy with the way they look tho. and i am happy with my decision
March 13, 2012
I'm sure they look beautiful! That's amazing that you lost all that weight, good for you, that is extremely hard for people to do. You should be really proud of yourself! You're an inspiration to all. Once they settle they get bigger and fluffier!
