$21,000
A few years ago, I came to see Dr. Ghavami for a surgery called S-curve. Dr was nice but the staff was very stuck-up. They charged me $150 consultation fee when I made my appt, then on the day I arrived, they charged me $150 again even though they said they did not. Then Rose, the assistant gave me a $13000 quote for my surgery. I could not afford the surgery immediately, so I waited another year. The next year when I came see the doctor again, the office increased my quote to $1000 more. In order for me to keep this quote from continuingly increasing, I put down $7000 deposit. Still, I could not ask for a vacation break from work to have the surgery because I was a new employee. So I told them I needed another 6 months, but I was willing to pay off the balance now, then they told me now my price has been increased to $5000 more , for a total of $19,000 !!! Then when I asked for a refund, they said they would take away $1000 from my $7,000.

To Real Self readers,
So, I wrote Dr. Ghavami a negative review after having a really bad day at work and an unsatisfying conversation with one of his assistants. However, now that I have time to rethink about the whole situation, Dr. Ghavami and his office were not 100% at fault. They did give me 2 years to have my surgery done at the quote provided. So, I think I was somewhat wrong for blaming their office 100%.
