18-years-old, Best Rhinoplasty Ever!! - Beverly Hills, CA

Let me start with saying, choosing Dr. Rahban as my plastic surgeon was the best decision I could have possibly made. I am 18-years-old and I moved to Los Angeles by myself around 6 months ago. I had never been completely happy with my nose but as I've gotten older I became more and more compelled to get a rhinoplasty. A few months ago I decided to take the plunge and get the surgery IF and only if I found a plastic surgeon that both my mom & I felt could completely satisfy my needs. I began doing some research and (thank the Lord) stumbled upon Dr. Rahban's website and began to read his reviews.  I decided to take a consultation with him amongst a few other surgeons. I was a little bit nervous because I was going to be going to the consolation alone (with my mom on the phone of course) but still it can be an intimidating experience! A soon as I stepped foot in their beautiful office I felt such a sense of ease because of how lovely and kind his ENTIRE staff is. Going into the consolation I was a bit frazzled because I wasn't quite sure what exactly could be done because I did not have a bump of any sort on my nose and it also should be noted that I've never had any breathing problems. I was mostly concerned with the tip of my nose and my mom was especially nervous because she wasn't sure that anyone would be able to do a good job at fixing the tip. As soon as I met Dr. Rahban I could immediately tell how passionate he was about the art of plastic surgery AND all of his patients. He is so kind and after he is done explaining something he will stop to make sure you understand just what he said to make sure there was no miscommunication, which I really appreciated & respected since I am just 18 and my mom was over the phone during my consolation. One of the things I respect the most about Dr. Rahban is that he will never give you unrealistic standards or expectations for the result of your surgery. He isn't going to draw up an unrealistic design of what the final result will look like like most doctors do. All of my friends who have had this surgery have showed me the photo of what their doctors had predicted their noses to look like, and I am telling you right now the photos weren't even close to the final result! Dr. Rahban will evaluate your nose very carefully and if he believes there is something that can be changed to become more aesthetically pleasing (since that is what I was looking for) he will take you on as a patient, but if not he is not going to waste your time and money and will be very honest with you about that. Throughout the entire consolation my mom and I became more and more impressed with him and it became very clear to us that he had to be my doctor.  With that being said, my mom would not have permitted me to go through with this procedure if she hadn't had LOVED my doctor, and my mom is extremely protective over me & wouldn't have put the fate of my nose into anyones hands who she hadn't trusted immensely. A few days later, my surgery was booked for just a few weeks later and I was coming into the office to get my before and afters, medicines, etc. It was such an easy, amazing process; it couldn't have gone smoother. Dr. Rahban and the entire staff truly made it so easy on myself and my family, which like I said earlier I truly appreciated because this could have been very intimidating for me.  When it came time for my surgery my mom flew in town to take care of me and after meeting Dr. Rahban she became just that much more confident and thrilled in the doctor who we had chosen. I have to say, I have always heard that it is extremely important to have a GREAT relationship with your surgeon and all of his staff, and that couldn't be more true! Both my mom and I feel soooo comfortable with everyone. Dr. Rahban performs an open rhinoplasty procedure rather than a closed rhinoplasty, which if you do the research an open rhinoplasty is the way to go.  The day of surgery I felt absolutely zero nerves, if anything I was more excited to see the outcome of what Dr. Rahban was going to do with my nose! My entire recovery process what as easy as it could be and I was already thrilled with how my nose looked without really being able to even see it.. When I got my cast off, I almost had to hold back the tears. He completely blew my expectations, I mean I was honestly mind blown. I went from this big knocker of a nose to a cute, feminine, NATURAL , button like nose. It was crazy to me how my number one insecurity had completely been fixed within just a few hours and that was all because of the amazing Dr. Rahban. I can't express to you how wildly happy I am that this no longer has be such a burden of mine. Like I said earlier, it is beyond evident that Dr. Rahban and his entire staff go up and beyond for all of their patients and care about all of us so much... I couldn't be happier and I truly could not have chose a more amazing doctor!!!!
