Best Decision in 2014 - Beverly Hills, CA

One of the best decisions I made in 2014 was a revision eyelid surgery with Dr. Steinsapir (hereinafter Dr. S). I am thrilled with the results! Here is my story......

My initial eyelid surgery (not with Dr. S) left me with an upper eyelid ptosis. In other words, a droppy eyelid. I lived with my left eye looking half closed for over 3 years because I was afraid of another surgery. When I could no longer stand the sight of myself, I began researching eyelid repair surgery. I interviewed 10 top eyelid surgeons in the United States over the course of a year. I selected Dr. S, had the surgery in December 2014 and I am thrilled with the results......... My cosmetic surgery repair with Dr. S was the single best decision I made in 2014. My bad cosmetic surgery experience is finally behind me after repair surgery with Dr. Steinsapir.

The office - Dr. S's assistant, Faith, is professional, kind and firm. The office runs like clockwork and Faith will be firm with you about what she can and cannot schedule. Thus, it is not always easy to get in to see Dr. S. He is busy! But, after a visit with Dr. S, you will see that his schedule is tough to balance because he spends as much time as is necessary with each patient. One of my consults lasted almost 3 HOURS! This is not a perfunctory consult or drive-by surgery. Faith does a great job juggling Dr. S's schedule given his commitment to the patient!

The interview - Dr. S is thorough, professional, kind and meticulous. I had three interviews with Dr. S. He spent significant time with me - measuring, checking, rechecking, photographing and analyzing my situation. He discussed what he was going to do, how he was going to do it and what I could expect. Dr. S explained what he could and could NOT do (as a result of underlying asymmetries).

The surgery - I followed the pre-surgery instructions to the letter. Happily, my surgery was uneventful. This is due to Dr. S' skilled hands and training. I had no pain, no complications and barely any bruising. Faith was supportive throughout the process. And, between us, I was an anxious mess! Faith was extremely helpful through the recovery process. My initial eyelid surgery with another doctor was just the opposite. After my first surgery (not by Dr. S), I was nauseous, weak, and very bruised. I FELT GREAT THE DAY AFTER MY DR. S SURGERY! Dr. S is a very skilled surgeon. His hands are so precise -- I was hardly bruised.

I am thrilled with my results. I finally recognize the person in the mirror. And, if you have had cosmetic surgery go wrong, you will understand this feeling of not recognizing yourself-- it is very distressing. I highly recommend Dr. S. In fact, I can confidently say that you are in the best hands with Dr. S and his office!

Finally, I have learned that many doctors try to rig the survey results by having family and friends write positive reviews. Given the serious nature of cosmetic surgery and my sincerity in helping others who have had cosmetic surgery go wrong, I have given Dr. S's office permission for qualified patients to contact me personally about my experience with Dr. S.

Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. S and his office!
I will say it anyway -- thank you!

Within a week, I looked amazing. Two weeks later, no one knew that I had a surgery!
