I first went and to all of this just wanting to get cool sculpt LIPO done. After seeing a few clinics that did the procedure and them telling me that I was not a candidate because it will make my skin worse, & that I would need a tuck, I decided to look at peoples videos on YouTube for tummy tuck procedures. Thank goodness I came across JazzyRachel because she mentioned in her video that anyone looking for this type of procedure should go on real self.com to look at certified providers in your area. When I came on this site to check it out I found Dr. Keshav Magge and that he was highly rated and only about an hour and a half from me. I made my consultation appointment with him and his demeanor and knowledge of the procedures I wanted really made me feel comfortable being there and choosing him. The staff at the office is all great and friendly and there for you from beginning to end. It was a lot for me to process so quickly going from thinking I would need a little laser lipo to something as drastic as a $12,000 tummy tuck with muscle tightening and liposuction all in 3 months but Dr. Magge made me feel confident with my decision. I booked my surgery date right at my consultation visit. My next appointment was my pre-op. I went over everything from what I can and can't do 2 weeks prior and what I needed for after surgery. All of my lab work came back perfect and I was anxiously waiting my surgery date. I was nervous the morning of but really just anxious to see how I looked after! My surgery went great. I went home with a pain pump and 1 drain as well as a compression garment. I honestly cried the second day because of the pain and because my kids weren't there with me. My daughters 7 and my son is 3 so my parents had them while my best friend stayed with me for 5 nights. I ate well and stayed hydrated. I only
sponge bathed until my drain came out. I used a walker the first few days to get around until I could stand all the way because it was a huge strain on my back. After my first week went by and my appointment came, and I got to get my drain out and garment off I felt much better. I am now 2 weeks post-op. I still hurt on my sides where the lipo was done but my stomach pain is gone and I'm finally coming around to being me. I use a silicone strip on my incision that I got from the office and use the binder as well through the day. I do notice if I do too much my body lets me know quickly and I will take a long nap following my activity. I'm very excited to see my results at my 6 week mark and beyond and wish everyone out there looking to get this procedure done luck, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. ????
