After a gastric sleeve surgery and a 130lb weight loss I was drowning in extra skin and my breasts were around my waist. I saw Dr. Michaels for a consultation, and decided to do not only a panniculectomy but also a full tummy tuck with a breast lift. At a little under 3 months out I couldn't be more thrilled. The procedure went off without a hitch and the recovery was as expected- very little incisional pain or discomfort. There was significant pain and downtime associated with the tummy tuck (about 4 weeks to feel fully mobile and 8 weeks to feel pain free), but what a difference!! He removed 4.5 pounds of fat and extra skin- but he is a skilled sculptor. My abdomen is flat, by waist is back to where is was 25 years ago, and my breasts are still full, natural looking, and back where God intended them to be. My boyfriend (a feminist and all around great guy) tries to hide how turned on he is by my new bod-- but he's not fooling me. I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I plan to do an upper body lift and to have the extra skin under my arms removed within the next year. I wouldn't think of using anyone other than Dr. Michaels.

Do you have any before and after pics? I have a consult with him next month for a tummy tuck/ mummy makeover. How long was surgery and did you do an overnight stay? Any advice for recovery? Were you able to contact him after surgery with any concerns you had during recovery? Look forward to hearing from you :)
Congratulations on getting the results you were hoping for. You sound thrilled with your outcome. I hope you'll keep us posted on your progress.
