I'M GONNA DO IT! Laser Liposuction on Abdomen and Flanks

After much debate, going back and forth for weeks I decided LIFE IS TO SHORT, GO FOR IT! I am getting Laser Lipo done on my abdomen and flanks. I wish I could do my bra bulge too but that would add another $3000 (which is absurd).
My surgery is scheduled for April 26 and I am a nervous wreck. I have never had surgery before so I am scared of the potential pain, but even more than that, I am scared of going thru all of this and being unhappy with my results. I am going to take "goal" photos to my pre-op appt tomorrow and ask the doctor to give me a realistic idea of how close I can get to it. He said this is a routine procedure for him so I would assume he can give me an educated guess...

So yesterday was my pre-op appt... I was hoping to show Dr. Richard's my goal photos and I also thought he would examine me again but none of that happened. Although he was very nice, it was kind of rushed; but I understand he had just come out of surgery and was booked to meet with patients back-to-back. I also heard reception repeatedly telling callers that his next availability for a consultation wasn't until July so I know he is booked to capacity. The downside is you kinda feel like just a number but the upside is (as everyone there states over and over) he has been doing this routinely for over 30 years and has it down to a science. He also assured me that although I will be on local anesthesia, the entire surgery will be "painless" and I will not even remember the procedure. That really calmed some of my worry because after reading tons of reviews about others being in pain, especially during the numbing process, that was one of my biggest fears. Deedee, patient coordinator (who is awesome), also assured me of this.
So I left my pre-op with all of my instructions and prescriptions in tow... Deedee also reiterated all instructions and answered my last bit of questions. Now it's just a waiting game. 2 more weeks! Nervous but Excited.

So many reviews I've read with everyone stating I eat right and exercise blah blah blah... Well I have to be honest; I fell of the wagon big time and my poor gut just got way beyond my control! before I knew it I had a tire around my waist. I tried to work on it twice a day for 6 months and barely lost an inch. It was just too hard for me with little to no results. I can guarantee this though, after this procedure, I will never let it get this way again!
Here's hoping for a big transformation.
