What type of anesthesia did you have and could you post an after pic from an eye-level angle? thks. Looks great. grace
Thanks Grace. I had intravenous sedation and was out the whole time. This wasn't a "lifestyle lift" for which some doctors use local shots to numb the face and the patient is awake. i will post additional pictures
Was wondering if Dr Jabs explained the difference between the lift he does and the "lifestyle lift" the way you described~ local shots and an awake patient means a simple skin lift?
He did explain the difference and recommended against a simple skin lift
He said The skin lift will look good but not last nearly as long as working on the underlying structure
Grace - I just posted another picture - is that what you asked for?
Just to clarify.....a lot of the doctors who work on the muscular sheath called the SMAS by lifting it along with tightening skin do so using only valium and numbing shots. So it's amazing to think that extensive work can be done with only that type of anesthesia but I wondered if Dr Jabs left you with the impression that if a doctor is using something less than IV sedation or general anesthesia that this indicates he is performing a Skin-only lift. Sounds like that is the impression he created. And thanks for the additional pic.
Not at all. He did not associate types of sedation. I had just asked him the difference in types of procedures. I saw some online videos of skin lifts with injections

this "after" photo was taken after I also had 2 laser treatments (post-facelift) to get rid of the dark spots on my face - I will post a photo without the laser treatment
You look great! What kind of laser was used? How many times did you repeat this treatment? Was it effective for wrinkles and spots?
Any fat transfer or fillers done on you?

Thank you. I'm having bbl laser-3 treatments (3 weeks apart). I was advised to repeat 1 treatment every 6 months to maintain the effects It has made a huge difference in virtually erasing most of my dark spots. I don't know about the effect on wrinkles. I didn't have any fat transfer or fillers
WOW :)
You look beautiful! I am so happy for you! What a lovely transformation!
