Early 60s Woman, my Face Lift is Wonderful! - Berkeley Heights, NJ

I'm a healthy, energetic widow in my early 60s, and I wanted my face to look as young as I feel. Despite my age I have beautiful skin with almost no wrinkles, but I had deep grooves near the corners of my mouth. They were quite pronounced and made me look much older. I thoroughly researched different surgeons and decided to have Dr. Peter Hyans do my face lift. The results are amazing and I couldn't be happier with my face. From my first appointment, I found Dr. Hyans very easy to talk to and very approachable. He was honest about what I could expect. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. He also told me he could get rid of the bags under my eyes. While I felt I was in good hands, initially I was worried about the surgery as I'd never had anesthesia before. But I had the surgery and I recovered amazingly fast, with minimal swelling and bruising and no visible scarring at all. I am thrilled with the results.
I was so pleased with the face lift that, just a couple months later, I decided to have a breast lift with a slight reduction, plus some liposuction on my tummy. Of course, I wanted Dr. Hyans to do it. With breasts, it does take longer for the scars to fade, but I was expecting that as he was honest about the healing time. I'm now "perky" again and much younger-looking. No more dowager breasts! Dr. Hyans is an extraordinary, gifted surgeon and I trust him completely. And his staff is absolutely wonderful. Nancy helps with all the scheduling - there are tests that must be done in advance and a lot of logistical issues she handles. The nurses are great, in particular Maria, who answered my many questions in between my follow-up visits with Dr. Hyans; she helped ease whatever anxieties I had.
