1 year post-op revision - still can't show my belly button

I searched for about a year, looking for the right place to do my belly button revision. I settled on Dr Barrett's practice. Now 14 months and thousands of dollars later, I still can't show my belly button without being embarrassed. They told me I needed to buy a belly button sphere from them. It was a waste because it was way too big, and never fit in my belly button. I bought a silicone plug instead. However, it hasn't done anything for the shape. It makes me want to cry every time I see my bb.
