I have PCOS and though I have always maintained a healthy diet and been an athlete, I have struggled with weight my entire life. After several years of maintaining a weight loss of 40 lbs, I was extremely frustrated that I still had the "brick" body shape and stubborn rolls of fat on my abdomen and thighs. I interviewed several doctors and was impressed by Dr. Marosan's professionalism, experience and pictures. The procedure was done on June 16th (waist, upper thighs, back, abdomen) and though it has only been a few days and I am still swollen, this is the first time in my life that I have had a waist! After all the research and visits with other plastic surgeons that I've done, it's clear to me that Dr. Marosan is not just a doctor, but an artist. His staff are extremely nice and helpful and he has the best goddamn anesthesiologist ever :) I felt safe the entire time and I'm really looking forward to seeing my final results. Will update with pictures later.

Thank you for sharing. Are you local? I am mentally considering this procedure so please post lots of pics and details, how long between consult and procedure, your healing process, who are you using for immediate care and massage, etc. Best of luck on this new journey!

Hi! Yes I am local and used this site to visit the closest doctors who offered free consults. I liked all the doctors but felt that Dr. Marosan would give me the best results. Instead of charging per body part like most surgeons he looks at the individual's body as a whole to see what needs to be done so and this was a big factor in my decision. I waited a month between consult and procedure (minimum wait time is two weeks) and had my mom be the caregiver. The biggest issues are soreness and drainage but they improve every day and I go stand in the shower multiple times a day to coax the drainage out. Though it's a bit painful, it's really easy to do and admittedly becomes kind of addictive! Dr. Marosan has me come in to the office every few days to check on the swelling and help with the massages. Tomorrow it will have been one week since the procedure. I just posted a couple pictures. Hope that answers some of your questions, feel free to ask me more :)

Thank you for your response. Your belly looks great, love the shaping from the side! You are quite a bit younger than me and so I would imagine your recovery will be much quicker than for someone like me, that said, I believe that we a re very fortunate to have Dr. Marosan in our area. Please keep posting your recovery, you are an inspiration to the rest of us who are sitting on the fence! You seem to have very little bruising, has that changed any?

Thank you! The bruising was bad at first but I really think that the constant "massages" that I was doing to get the drainage out made it go away very quickly.

A month or two before surgery and six days after surgery. Feeling much better today but am still experiencing a lot of drainage and swelling in thighs.

I know the feeling but try not to be! To be honest I've met other doctors with a warmer bedside manner but I really think that Dr. Marosan is probably the best in this area at what he does which is why I went with him. So far I have not been disappointed or the slightest bit uncomfortable in any of my dealings with him or his staff. He is very professional and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking into lipo. Best of luck!!
