Septorhinoplasty with the amazing Dr. Ridgway - Bellevue, WA

WORTH IT
I am 25 years old and have had a broken nose for 10 years (broken on 2 separate instances, playing HS sports). Being fortunate enough to have never broken a(nother) bone or otherwise needed surgery, I was hesitant about the procedure and wasn't interested in doing it for cosmetic purposes. But it finally got to the point that I was having a hard time breathing through my nose while sleeping, exercising etc. so I decided to go see a specialist through my primary care network. At my appointment, it was confirmed that I had a deviated septum, and I was told that both of my nasal valves had collapsed. The cartilage in the tip of my nose was also very compromised, so the tip of my nose would need to be restructured. I was then recommended to Dr. Ridgway, and couldn't be more grateful. I was initially uncertain, as I wasn't sure that I wanted to travel back and fourth to Bellevue, but the ear/nose/throat specialist convinced me that Dr. Ridgway was "the best" and I am so glad that I took his word for it, because he really is wonderful (see full review below). I'm now just a month post-op, and I can't believe I didn't do this sooner.

Thanks so much for sharing! Did you hit any rough patches during your recovery from this surgery?
