9 Days Post Op Revision Lipo
WORTH IT$8,975
As you all can see I’m healing rather nicely. I expected a lot more swelling and loose sagging skin but so far looks good for me being a mom of 3 bio babies (youngest is 18 months). I think Dr. Dry did an AMAZING job on me and I’m super happy with my results so far even though all the swelling hasn’t gone down. I look forward to going back to the gym this coming weekend (can’t workout for 2 weeks) and I’ll be searching Amazon for a binder sooner than later. I need a smaller garmet but it needs to be torso only as I am bottom heavy so the garmet now fits my bottom but way too loose for my torso. I’m pretty much back to normal my lipo area is tender to touch and hurts sometimes when I cough but overall pain I can bare....stopped the pain medication on day 2 and been good since. I’ll update again when I go back on the 21st I’ll be about 4 weeks post op. Let me know if you have questions beauties!

Revision 10/25
So this day started out like any other day. I went in they took my vitals the Doctor did his art work on the areas needing revision and I went into the procedure room (more or less). The difference this time was that they opted to do IV Sedation versus General Anesthesia. IV Sedation they also call Conscious Sedation or Twilight Sedation, I thought it was cool I wouldn’t need a breathing tube as I would be breathing on my own. Boy was I wrong...
If you get the option to choose I suggest NOT going with IV Sedation. Everyone is different and this is my experience one I DO NOT recommend.
Upon entering the operating room I laid on the bed as normal and talked to the nurses until I fell asleep, I’m not sure how much longer after that I WOKE UP during the procedure! I saw the blue curtain hanging in front of my face, I saw the nurses as I screamed in excruciating pain because I felt EVERY last move of the cannula as Dr. Dry performed my lipo....my stomach felt like it was being sliced open while my insides were on fire! My leg kept getting pushed down as I kept moving it because I was in pain trying to get away...the nurse kept saying “they’re numbing it, they’re numbing it” but it wasn’t until I almost started crying from the pain that they increased my sedation and I fell back to sleep. That experiences as so traumatizing I am not sure I will return to Athenix Body Sculpting to get my tummy tuck and another breast fat transfer.
As I said everyone is different and you may respond to IV Sedation differently but I personally would not recommend or allow a provider to use it again on me.
As far as recovery goes I am doing well. Almost back to moving normal and excited to get my garment off and shower today! Overall I don’t regret the decision to get the revision, I regret allowing them to use IV Sedation. Let me know if you all have any questions RealSelf babes!

s you all can see I’ve kept most if not all of the fat transfer. I’ve really enjoyed my size compared to my starting size. Hope you all have enjoyed my journey thus far. I will update you all on my revision surgery 10/25 or 10/26 if I’m recovering as expected. I’ve included pictures of my before and today over 1 year post.

Have you seen a Doctor for the lump on the left breast. Think it's a cyst.

Hi Yes I did, the mammogram was normal breast tissue and the ultrasound showed scar tissue. No cyst. No cancer

Hello, I am African American and I am considering breast fat transfer. I am a bit over weight and I am afraid of developing cysts because, I have history of cystic breasts from previous mammograms. Would you recommend getting the procedure and Dr.Dry?

So glad to hear that!! I am considering your doctor, your results look amazing!! Are you getting the second surgery to transfer more to your breasts?

Im getting a revision surgery to correct the liposuction. I plan to get a tummy tuck and at that time I will do another breast fat transfer. Dr. Dry is amazing at what he does and the consultation is free. I'd suggest talking to them about what you want and your history to see if this is the best procedure for you. Keep me updated on how it goes doll!
