Bellafill for Forehead Wrinkles

I had 3 syringes of bellafill injected to my forehead by Dr. Nelson Castillo of Atlanta in October 2025 over 2 sessions. You can see from the before/after this was very effective at moderating fairly deep forehead wrinkles and the 11’s at the lower forehead.
Forehead wrinkles are one of the toughest problems to solve. There is no surgical solution, since a brow/forehead lift moves the entire forehead structure up, preserving whatever wrinkles are in place. Widespread procedures include Botox, lasers, and microneedling – tried them all, and all nothing burgers for me.
Bellafill is the only permanent filler on the market. I am very surprised bellafill has a 50% worth-it rating on realself, because I had 12 syringes of bellafill injected to my cheeks and nasolabial folds about 6 years ago. The result is fantastic and lives up to its permanent characterization. For the forehead, Dr. Castillo did one syringe in the first session, and two syringes in the second session. If I had it to do over, I would have gone one syringe per session, since the two-syringe session gave a lot of swelling/redness. Many doctors/injectors will not inject the forehead with bellafill, so I was happy to find Dr. Castillo locally.
The result is still settling, since this is about one month after the 2nd treatment. I will post an update in a few months. Bellafill for the forehead is probably one of the most underperformed procedures in Plastic Surgery (not surgery), because it is possibly the ONLY procedure that will substantially alleviate deep forehead wrinkles.
