Permalip Implant UK

Wanted this done for a long time, finally decided to go ahead.
Opted for Bella Forme Glasgow. Dr Shaoib.
Consult was good, spoke to me asking why I wanted it done etc. Booked in 2 weeks in future to get procedure done.

On day of procedure it was around 35 mins late.
Finally began, Dr told me what was going all the way through procedure. Nurse was nice holding my hand putting me at ease. Place was clean and everything sterile.

Actual procedure went quickly.
Injections were painful but over quickly. Didn't feel any pain other than the initial injections, he tried to minimise the pain, it was still painful but I did appreciate him Trying lol
There was lots of pulling whilst lower lip was being done. Apparently the Impant had doubled on itself. Aot of fumbling and pulling sensations. Upper lip went quicker than lower, I guess it went through ok.

The anisthetic began to wear off on the way home. OH MY it began to be sore. My eyes watered from the pain, my face felt heavy and as if I had sinus. My jaw was very painful. Took painkillers but didn't work much at all. Eventually took a Amatripalyne tablet. That worked. 10/10 pain.....
Covered my lips in Vaseline. I used Corsodyl to clean my mouth after eating. I used an electric toothbrush as I didn't have to move it around as much.

Slept with more pillows than usual, woke up in pain through the night and had to take more painkillers.

Next Morning pain wasn't nearly as bad and normal painkillers took away the pain. 4/10 pain....
Pain definatley less the next day. Bruising coming out a lot now especially lower lip.
Everything feels lumpy and hard, although not touching my lips much as feels weird, like not mine almost


SWELLING gradually increased on the day it was done. Hubby said if I was yellow he'd call me Homer.

I'll put up pics in order they were taken.

Swelling has gone down a bit now. Pain is very minimal. Still taking anti viral meds.
Sleeping as normal now.
Bottom lip is still huge however and very bruised.
Top lip is looking fine.
Think all that hauling on the bottom.lip during the procedure has caused more trauma and taking longer to heal. I'm bruised right round my mouth area, and still a bit swelling on my jaw/jowl area.

Stitches are still there and can't open my mouth really wide. Still cleaning them with corsydol mouthwash.

Eating so much better Now, but not totally normally. Still on soft food or easy to chew, small pieced food.

Day 5
Zwekling has go e down a bit more. Still aways to go.
Bottom lip Is still larger at the end that the surgeon had issues with.
It's not got a gap showing. I had thought originally this was due to swelling but I think the implant is situated wrongly or is damaged due to the trauma?
I look like I have a permanent sneer.
I truly hope it is swelling but I suspect there's a problem and it's been there so 've the implant was put in.

Love my top lip though.

Eating fine. Stitches are still there but no pain from them.
Still bruising round all my mouth and face (if covered it with concealer).
Lips still feel stiff and weird.

I'm seeing the nurse tomorrow so we will see what they think.
