I recently flew from the UK to Belgium to have next day surgery at the Wellness Kliniek with Dr Luc Damen. I was booked in for a breast uplift and labiaplasty. During my consultation Dr Damen advised an anchor lift for my breasts. He did not explain any risks associated with the operation but simply kept saying "there is more risk associated with you being sat here" or "more risk flying on a plane". He did not want to explain the risks such as clotting, anaesthesia etc. I then explained I wanted a trim labiaplasty but he said if I had that procedure then any guy or boyfriend would know that I have had work down there and it would be a mutilatuon. He said I should have the doubly more expensive wedge method. He never examined me in the consultation for my labiaplasty or even asked what I wanted from the op, just simply said ok we will see tomorrow in theatre when I tried to explain what I wanted. I stupidly agreed to all this. Had both ops the next day after waiting 7 hours for him. Post op I never saw or heard from him. Zero aftercare. One month on my breast uplift is botched, skin has been tightened at the bottom of the breast but not enough on the top leaving the loose skin as he gore and making my nipples sag. The nipples are also non circular. My labiaplasty looks botched, the clitoral hood was tamelered with and pulled down tight despite me saying I didn't want the hood to be touched. Have emailed him and his staff but zero response. For a man with such an ego, his work is sub standard and does not compare to the world class surgeons out there. I don't even want him to fix these botched jobs, I would rather pay and have it repaired by a credible UK surgeon which I should have done originally. Anyone considering the Wellness Kliniek and this doctor - be warned. He is a cheap surgeon on all levels. Save your hard earned cash and have the sense and patience to go elsewhere.
