I never really had much lips and I always wanted...
WORTH IT$1,500
I never really had much lips and I always wanted to do something about it.
When I talk my lips tend to disappear, luckily I got nice teeth.
So, this year I decided to get myself Juvederm for my birthday.
I knew that fillers are not worth it but I just wanted to know the size I want to be.
Permalip is something I knew I wanted to eight years now, I just was not sure whether I'd get 4mm or 5mm.
I did an extensive research on here, other sites and all the available videos on YouTube.
You must understand that even the biggest implant is only 5 millimeters in diameter so if you want to end up with any noticeable difference that is the one to go with.
Also, these implants only come in two lengths, so they really aren't as custom as they claim.
I am very physically active, I lost 130 lbs in two years so Juvederm only lasted two months before my body absorbed all of it. I made an appointment couple months ago just to be sure the temporary filler was all gone.
Dr. Horowitz is AMAZING! My friend and I both felt very welcome and comfortable, he even let us live feed the procedures to our Facebook accounts.
I will however have to say one thing that goes against EVERY single review available...
Although this procedure is in fact painless, what follows once the Lidocaine wears off is PURE AGONY and two days of doubt and misery. We ended up driving out from Pittsburgh, PA which is five hours away. On the way back from surgery all the pain blockers wore off and we were scared to take any pain medications to be able to focus on driving. OMFG it was TERRIBLE! My whole head was hot and felt expanded, temples pulsating, all my teeth hurt and injections sites seemed to be he cause, lips were sooooo swollen and felt like they were going to burst. Nothing helped. I got home that night took everything I had available and passed out with an ice pack on my face. During the car ride my friend and I could not look at each other, it made us laugh but it hurt so much to laugh and we were scared to burst the sutures.
Day 2 - the pain was not there only the severe discomfort, burny feeling and terrible swelling. I been sleeping with my head elevated, taking Tramadold 50mg, Ibruprofen 600mg, Penicilin, Bromelain, Arnica Montana (gel and under the tongue disolvable as instructed by an implant manufacturer), and I been cleaning the area with surgical hand soap. Day two I walked my dog outside with the mask on. I also sleep with the mask on because I do not want my dog to lick my face.
Day 3 - I look much better and a lot of swelling has gone down. I am even able to eat without everything falling out of my mouth. I still went out in public with the mask on , looking like some bird flu paranoid person.

Ha! Thank you!
I hope it helps others to be more decisive as well.
There are things in my review that i wish I found while I was doing research...such as the agony you go thru first two days, how small these implants really are and all the medications the manufacturer suggests you to use.
