Jeffrey Horowitz, MD

Dr Horowitz was very informative and set realistic expectations. I do wish I went a little bigger but I know a lot of surgeons don’t recommend going too big with breast lift and augmentation done at once so I’m not very upset. My results are way better than what I had before and I’m very pleased. He had very good bedside manners.

Dr. Harowitz performed my tummy tuck and lower back lipo at the MIA Aesthetics in Brooklyn. He was very professional and took the time to make me comfortable before, during, and after surgery. At the post-op appointments he took his time to hear and answer all my questions and explained the post-op care very well. Made me feel very secure and well taken care of! He’s very friendly and easy to talk with. So glad I went with him as I am very pleased with my results and being in his care. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Horowitz (Now practicing out of MIA in NYC) is great doctor, knows his stuff, is realistic about results he can give you based off your body type. Personality wise, his bedside manner is fine, nothing too warm and fuzzy but cuts straight to the chase.
I met him day of surgery and 1 day post op. Answered all my questions and checked to make sure everything looked good. I do not have any complaints.

So I wrote an whole essay a few days post op but fell asleep and it deleted so here I try again.

So far I like my results 9 days post op and will share some photos. Dr. Horowitz did a great job and delivered what I wanted thus far. Staff at the facility were kind and I didn't have any issues. I asked a bunch of annoying questions but they were fine. Facility itself is nice , clean and modern. Parking is city street parking so you have to drive around to find a spot but i always got lucky.

Remember that everyone and their results & recovery will be different! This is my 2nd bbl and lipo and I have been sooo uncomfortable and a lot of pain the first week compared to my first round bbl and was walking around mall 1 day post op but not this time!... I was not able to get up without vomiting and feeling like crap ! First 24 hours post op I spent vomiting straight through.
First few days up until 7 days post op ,I felt awful , like i had a hang over all day, could not stay up standing long without heart rate going up high. I was out of breath and could not go up stairs to my bedroom so slept on air mattress in my living room.
Day 7-8 is finally now able to not get short of breath with doing stuff or walking. Able to turn on sides to get up on my own as I was too weak to do it alone before. I no longer feel nauseous. I been cleaning house lightly and laundry which is nice. I can NOT bend yet that great so if something falls on floor, it stays there. Brusing has cleared up significantly, even though I wouldn't say I had crazy significant bruising thankfully to begin with.

Dr. Horowitz is all you’re looking for in a plastic surgeon. His professional bedside manners and thorough explanation leaves you feeling that sense of security you’re in the best hands and I definitely was. This doctor isn’t chasing money and on a mission for you to love your results. I’m only one month TT post op and loving my results. He’s so pleasant and easy to talk to and never rushing you out the door. I’m so happy with everything and can't wait for the final results.

I had nothing but an amazing experience with Dr. Horowitz and the team at Mia Aesthetics Baltimore, MD (actually located in Fulton, MD). Scheduling was easy, although, slightly confusing due to the main office being located in Miami. He listened to everything that I wanted and expected and the man delivered! If you want someone that can create art out of your body, he is the man. I am beyond impressed and I love my body. Every day, I see something new that I love. My hips are right, my butt is tight, and everything is fluffy and jiggly...just how I wanted it!

This is a continuation of my initial review with Dr. Torres at Skin & Skinnier and my weight gain journey in preparation of liposuction and fat grafting to hips and buttocks. I switched surgeons at the last minute (two months prior to surgery) due to a new Mia Aesthetics opening in my state and relatively close (30 minutes) away from the city I live in. I just felt that overall having the surgery done at home would be more convenient for me as I have two dogs and my mother was flying in to help with my recovery. Dr. Horowitz has been practicing in Maryland for the past 15 years and is a certified licensed plastic surgeon and recently joined the Mia Aesthetics team. Now, I'm aware of the negative connotations that Mia Aesthetics has especially in Miami however I decided to switch anyways as my surgeon had plenty of experience and was very confident in my body and how it would show results. I am currently three months post op as of yesterday and I feel wonderful. I am not fully sitting on my butt even though I am able but I'd rather be safe. I weighed 170 pounds at 5'5" prior to surgery and maintained that weight until now. I am planning to gain at least 10-15 pounds to solidify the weight in my hips and butt in addition to working out.
-Day of Surgery:
--The day of surgery I came in about 2 hours prior to my surgery and after getting my IV, met with Dr. Jeffrey Horowitz to mark me up and discuss my goals once more prior to surgery. I was already slightly hippy prior to surgery (hips were 40") however I wanted more hips with a sizeable shelf butt. Dr. Horowitz agreed and I walked into the surgery room and was immediately put under anesthesia. I woke up freezing and in a ridiculous amount of pain on my behind. I could barely form coherent sentences but the RN helped me to flip over and provided two tylenol to help with my pain at the time. I had a blood pressure cuff on my arm however I kept moving it when I was moving around trying to get comfortable on my stomach which was utterly impossible. My stomach and behind felt like it was on fire, however it was nothing compared to the cold I felt deep in my spirit (more than likely due to the anesthesia). Thankfully, the RN also provided me a small heater and blanket to help me. Finally my Mom arrived to pick me up and I had to get into the wheelchair, which was still painful. I'm not trying to deter you, because I love my results however you should definitely be aware of the pain that you will be signing up for. I took a Percocet in car with a pineapple juice mixture (pineapple, coconut water, and mango to help healing and hydration) and a few unsalted crackers. Getting out of the car was painful but I had purchased a walker so I knelt on the walker as my boyfriend wheeled me to my apartment. I got on the bed and passed out.
-Two Weeks Post Op
---You will be sore, you will not want to go anywhere, you won't have an appetite but please walk around, drink and eat whatever you can so that your body can heal.

Dr. Horowitz is extremely patient and helpful. I got a skin only tummy tuck and Breast lift about 2 weeks ago and I already LOVE my results. Whenever I call (believe it or not, I’ve called often), him and his office staff are always very welcoming and helpful. I’m so glad that I choice this surgeon, you can tell that he really just wants to help his clients reach there goal. I definitely recommend Dr. Horowitz if you’re looking for a caring, neat, and professional doctor.

I recently had cheek filler done by Dr. Horowitz. I couldn’t be happier! I was looking to help restore volume loss in my face and to help with smile lines. Dr. Horowitz listened to all of my concerns and together, we came up with a plan to achieve a natural appearance. I was injected with Revanesse Versa. It gave my cheeks a more plump and lifted look. After about a week, the full results were visible and my smile lines are gone. I’m very much looking forward to my Botox appointment with him in April.

In addition, I met with his esthetician, Ashley, she recommended SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier to enhance and prolong my filler. I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now and have noticed my skin appears to be smoother and brighter.

I couldn’t be happier with this office and am looking forward to coming back!

Been window shopping for quite a few years for an excellent certified plastic surgeon that was in my own state. Finally decided to go ahead with it, had few consults then the pandemic put a stop to the process. Disappointed but that actually gave me time to find the one and only Dr. Jeff Horowitz of Bel Air and his phenomenal staff!!! From initial consult to my first post op appointment, they all have been NOTHING but extraordinary. I’m hard to sell and like I said, I had a few consults prior to meeting Dr Horowitz but as soon as I met him, I had the feeling he was the one. Michele (office manager) made the process sooooo extra easy. Call, text, email her anytime. She will get right back to you within hours or maybe even the same hour. We had a hiccup (out of their control) which made them have to reschedule my initial surgery date :( I received a personal call from the Dr and Michele that same day. That alone awards 5 stars!!! Dr Horowitz’s bedside manner is so mild. He’s not arrogant like MOST surgeons. My husband even spoke highly of him after his (once again) personal phone call the evening after my surgery to check on me. I work in the medical field and I know personally how some surgeons can act. This experience exceeded my expectations!!! Thank you a million times over Dr. Horowitz, Michele, and staff!!!! Today marks six weeks 1 day and counting!! I cannot express how happy I am with my results so far. I still have a little swelling here and there and some tenderness. I cannot wait until 3 months and 6 months post op. Looking forward wearing my jeans with NO muffin top!!!

From start to finish my experience was outstanding. I had my first dermaplaning and light peel performed by the beautiful, talented educated Medical Aesthetician April Slutzky. Ladies my skin is radiant. It is glowing.
I can't say enough wonderful things about April and the staff.
I've already booked my next appointment. I'm fighting this aging thing. Owning my age is one thing, but I refuse to look it.
