Recent Accident with Disfiguring Scar Just Below Lower Lip on Chin. Bedminster, NJ

I had an accident where I was sitting on a stool not paying much attention, leaned forward too much and ended up hitting my chin on the edge of a table, resulting in 25 sutures. After nearly 1+ years of me having spent time and a considerable amount of money at a different doctor that simply kept lasering my new scar with little to no improvement I decided to reach out to Dr. Janjua who came highly recommended. When I arrived at Dr. Janjua's office, I was greeted warmly by his extremely friendly and welcoming staff. It wasn't long before I was with Dr. Janjua who immediately reassured me that my new scar could be taken care of. I've never felt more comfortable in a doctor's care! Dr. Janjua's demeanor and bedside manner is unparalleled. In the year plus since my accident where I received this scar, I have never felt more at ease. Dr. Janjua not only offered me a procedure that I had not been offered in the past (simply removing my scar surgically and essentially replacing it with a clean, fine, barely noticeable line). Dr. Janjua talked me through the procedure, made sure I was comfortable and provided options. I immediately agreed to his proposal to remove the scar and to finally be done with this journey! Dr. Janjua and his staff provided more than ample prep for this procedure and checked on me the days prior to my scar removal. I was nervous being that this scar was on my face and with previous experience, I had become accustomed to wearing bandages on my face for long periods of time with constant lasering that did nothing but turn my face into a petri dish. When I went in for my procedure I was at ease with Dr. Janjua - again, his foremost priority was my comfort. The procedure was done within 15 minutes. I went home feeling great! Dr. Janjua checked in on me later in the day and even gave me his direct line to call should I need to contact him over the holiday weekend! I spent a long labor day weekend on the couch and was shocked that simply after 1 full day of icing my stitches and scar removal area, it felt as if I never had the procedure in the first place! By the 3rd day when I peeled back the bandage I was in complete shock at how amazing the procedure turned out - even with the stitches still in!! When the stitches were removed - I was simply in awe. It looked like I never had a scar in the first place. Dr. Janjua managed to remove my scar (which was a large 'U' shaped flap) and replace it with a very VERY fine line that blends with my natural smile line. As the months progressed and I checked-in with Dr. Janjua every now and then, my chin continuously improved. There is hardly any evidence of anything having happened and its been a mere 6 months. Improvements with scars take time and I am so excited to see the progress over time (if I'm even able to find it to follow it's progress!). The saddest part about this story; I am sincerely going to miss Dr. Janjua and his staff. Liz and Lilly were absolutely AMAZING as well - I may need to drop by just to say hello! I could not be happier with the result - I feel like Dr. Janjua repaired by previously 'botched' scar removal procedures. I have regained confidence and no long get asked "where'd you get that scar!?" Now when I tell the story I simply get: "Where was it? I don't see anything?"
