Out with the Old and In with the New @ Janjua Facial Surgery

I've made a year since my Alarplasty and I don't regret it one bit. Dr. J did a fantastic job. I love my results and the scarring has improved over time. Some times I forget I even had it done. The only minor thing I've noticed is that I have a faint numb sensation on my right nostril when I lightly pass my finger on it. Then sensation has improved over time. It doesn't bother me and I'm not concerned one bit because I know it has to do with a blood vessel being cauterized which is a technique surgeons use to prevent blood loss and to keep the area clean. I had the same thing done when I had my tummy tuck and it took me 2 years to get sensation back in certain areas of my stomach. It comes with the territory of getting certain surgeries done and I'm ok with that.

I am so happy with my alar base reduction. It makes such a difference. Its healing nicely. I cant wait for my 2 week post OP mark so I can start scar therapy.
