please read this review before you get a transplant with dr cinik!

Just over 9 months ago I had a beard transplant of 3400 graphs, The beard itself looks ok and even good in some lighting, but I have to trim it regularly and to a certain long length for it to not look strange or expose that it is a transplanted beard, which is quite frustrating but its not the worst thing as I have also had a few compliments on the beard when I do the maintenance and keep it looking nice at the right length. However, one big issue is a lot of the hairs especially on the left side around the mouth have been implanted to stick out perpendicular to the skin which looks really strange and unnatural and is purely down to the lack of skill of the technicians when implanting the hairs at the wrong angle. Also, my Donor area was mildly overharvested as they took too many hairs/ graphs for my supply, especially around the sides. As a result, I have had to fork out hundreds of Pounds to get an SMP done to fill in the donor area so that I can have my sides and back shaved short without exposing the harvested donor area. Just remember that anything over 2500 graphs is considered and mega session so be very sure and have your donor area checked thoroughly with a licenced surgeon in your country that you have a sufficient supply and what your max number of graphs are before you decide to fly out to another country and have the transplant, because I can guarantee you they will not check thoroughly enough when you get there. I’ve now seen some places calculate your donor area properly with a camera and computer. Doctor cinik simply ran a comb through my donor area for a minute at most and then made up his mind on the suitable number of graphs. The whole pre procedure talk with Dr Cinik felt extremely rushed and he didn’t seem very attenuative, it came across as he just wanted to draw the line on my face as quickly as possible and then move me along to see the next patient, whereas considering that line and design will permanently be on my face, I felt quite let down and felt he could of spent a bit more time talking and discussing the design of the surgery. On the other hand the service was very nice and high standard, from the organised transport to the fancy building and tasty food, but at the end of the day I’m sure you will all agree that the transplant that will stay with you for the rest of your life is far more important than a few days of nice service. Another issue is I now have pits and bumps on my face from were the transplant took place. These do however get covered up as long as I grow my beard out to the appropriate length, but the fact that even before I booked the surgery I made sure to ask if I would be able to have the beard short to stubble or completely shaved off without any evidence of a transplant, having that now clearly not be the case is very upsetting and puts me in a position where I will most likely be permanently forced to grow my beard out long to cover these bumps and pits. Not only that but there also appears to be some slight discolouration, especially on the right side where it looks like permanent 5 o’clock shadow when shaved right down to the skin with a razor blade. All in all, whilst the beard can look good if grown long and well maintained, I’m overall disappointed with the outcome. If I could go back in time, I would have been more patient, saved up more money to go to a reputable surgeon who you know is going to do the job and not a few shoddy unqualified technicians. I understand that the cheap price tag is alluring as it was for me, especially being young and not earning a lot, but just remember that once the surgery is done, you are stuck with that outcome for life whether you like it or not. Also do not be tricked by the vast number of “positive Reviews”. Reading back over many of them makes me think in hindsight that a lot of them are fake as they just talk about the “great service” and not their own personal transplant results which is what we all care about at the end of the day. I also see them disputing a few genuine real reviews trying to play them off as if they are not on their records. Well just in case they attempt that with this review My initials are SC and I had my transplant on 10/08/2020 and if anyone wants to message me for proof then feel free. All in all 2/5 star. Whilst the results were not disastrous like I have seen with other surgeries online, I would highly recommend saving up your money and going to a proper ISHRS qualified surgeon who will be doing the procedure him or herself. Don’t forget that you get what you pay for when it comes to these procedures and if you want a McDonald’s quality transplant on your head/face for the rest of your life then go ahead and be impatient by spending your money at one of these hair mills Like Ciniks clinic.
