Best Surgeon for Top Surgery

I had been searching high and low for the right surgeon to do my top surgery for years, and I stumbled upon Medalie by chance while looking at another surgeon in the states- After hours of research I realised he was by-far the best man for the job, as his outcomes were absolutely spectacular from the pictures and reviews I had found online. I sent an email to his assistant immediately, and received a reply within 24 hours. Over a couple of months I spoke back and forth with said assistant, paying for my surgery in increments (which they had no trouble with at all), and asking any question that came to mind. His assistant was incredibly helpful and dealt with my constant badgering in a friendly manner. All of the staff were friendly, the nurses especially. I was admitted and hooked up to an IV very quickly while Medalie was finishing up another procedure, and they let my partner hang out with me in the room with a couple other beds. After he drew on my chest and talked for a moment he went off to prepare for my surgery and the nurses came to get me, they really put me to ease as they rolled me into the operating room (that and whatever they put in my IV.) I don’t remember much after that, but the nurses were very thorough with teaching my partner how to clean my drains and how to take care of me, and even helped with getting us a ride back to the hotel once they found out we don’t drive. I had to spend about a week at a nearby hotel recovering, then I went to the post-op appointment to take my drains out. The nurses there were super nice too, and professional- post-op care was explained to me and my drains were taken out, then Dr. Medalie came in to see how I was healing. He didn’t stay for long, just popped in for a second to see the results. I left smiling and thoroughly informed on my post-op care!

Pros: Friendly/Responsive and professional staff, good price for the procedure, absolutely phenomenal surgeon, convenient location with hundreds of reasonably priced hotels nearby since medical tourism seems to be booming there, super short waiting time.

Cons: No public transit nearby.

The outcome of my chest was clear after the first week, even with the swelling and slight bit of bruising. It is 10/10. It’s exactly how I imagined it to be, down to the size of the nipples themselves. It looks fantastic and I’m not even 2 weeks post-op, so it can only look better with time! It really is everything I imagined. I don’t want to upload a photo due to not wanting to be indentified and outed, but if you need any photo examples you can find them online easily!
