I started on my journey 1 1/2 years ago to finally get back to ME!!!! I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls. After my last pregnancy I weighed in at 323 lbs with me putting on over 100 lbs during that pregnancy. After having her I developed post partum cardiomyopathy due to the excessive weight gain. I was re-admitted to the hospital when she was 3 days old due to complications with my heart because of the excessive weight gain. Cardiologist came in and straight up told me told to lose the weight or I won't be here long to raise my kids. Reality set in that I was only 25 and this was serious. I started losing weight and lost about 50 lbs but never stayed consistent with my diet and exercise regimen. A year and half ago, I had enough and decided I needed to get back to ME. I started full force withy diet and exercise and I am now down to 190 lbs on my 5"12 frame and in a size 8/10 (smallest I have ever been in my life). I have lost weight with good old fashion diet and serious hard core exercise!!!! I feel I have earned the right to getting TT after making a change in my life style bc no matter how much I eat clean and work out hardcore this excess skin won't MOVE!!! Anyway I am 2 weeks away and nervous and excited at the same time.

I am a week and a half away and feeling excited and very nervous as most others who are preparing for their TT. It doesn't doesn't help that I am a RN with my nervousness bc I know too much and nurses sometime tend to overthink things, lol . But I know I will be ok!!

Sometimes overthinking can be a good thing! My hubby is an RN also, so I know I'll be in good hands during my recovery.

I am getting closer and having less sleep bc of anxiety. Just ready to be done already!!!! I will go this weekend to get everything I will need and my husband and kids will need while I am down. I am still working out like crazy and doing some serious core work that I have been doing to help with my post op pain and recovery. Question I know I will come home with a binder but do I need to order some type of compression garmet? If so can someone recommend a place to me??
