I'm 46y old with no kids. I'm 5'' 5'', 125lbs, I currently wear 34b. I am active and been training since I was 19y. I have wanted breast for many years. I have lost whatever I had left of my breast from doing weights. This site has been nice but I have read some really bad recovery stories and it's really scaring me to the point that I think I am going to cancel my surgery. I am so anxious and wondering if all this is really worth it. My surgery is in 4 days. Any advice ? I am really going crazy emotionally and I am very upset and confused. Please excuse my writing I am french. :O)

Hi, I can relate, I was just had my BA on Friday Morning (1/8)and was on the verge of canceling that same morning until my friend talked me down from the ledge (so to speak) I am 5'10 138 and wore a 34B also- nursed 2 children and very athletic- I coach several soccer teams including varsity girls. I will tell you there is some pain- obviously and the use of your pectoral muscles (I went under the muscle for a more natural look) is hard to NOT use- because we use them all the time but overall I'm so far beyond happy with my results. I would do it again tomorrow. Are you married? Or live with someone- because I will say I need my husband to open my pill bottles for me because i cannot (which is tough to swallow my pride and ask for help with everything). I hope this helps and didn't scare you any more than you already were. I was driving myself crazy before surgery too but couldn't be MORE happy with the way I look already! You are strong, I'm sure you'll be just fine! Best of luck!

Positive attitude and confidence in your decision are two of the most important factors in a smooth recovery .... I also had questions because I assumed it couldn't possibly be as "easy" as some ladies made it out to be. Again this is just my experience but I was so sure about wanting to do it and wanted boobs for SO long that I had no problems telling myself it's worth it when I was sore/ grumpy/ whatever. I'm still not fully healed (had my surgery almost 5 weeks ago) and I still have no doubt that I'll get thru any complications that may arise (I.e. Capsular contracture) because to me the risk is worth the reward. To me, potentially complicated boobs are better than no boobs at all.

I think that you look great just the way you are! But if you feel you must have larger breasts to be happy, then as long as you have a REPUTABLE surgeon you should be fine!

Surgery in two days
It's Monday and my surgery is Wednesday. I have mixed emotions, this BA surgery is making me crazy, lol, I just can't wait to get it over with. I cannot share my fear and anxiety with much people since I chose not to tell anyone except my parents and two friends, I'm keeping it private . I am also scared that my implants will be too big, it seems to be the concern from a lot of women. I'm a 34a(b) and I want a C cup, i'm having 350cc contour profile mentor put in, I just want to look natural not round looking like some people.
Anyways, I am relieved to have found this place. I have to drive 45 min away for the surgery, the weather network was announcing a storm but today the storm doesn't look that bad, not as much snow fall, so i'm really happy about that, one less stress. I'll keep you updated. Any advice is more then welcome ! :o))

Big decision, I too train with weights and had thought about breast augmentation. I am a small 34b in a padded bra. When I think of putting something foreign in my body and the adverse complications that are possible I just could never risk this for bigger breasts. Natural for me Is better than filled bags. I love my body and my little breasts, I do get compliments. I have wondered if placing the implant is more difficult when placing it under strong pectoral muscles. A girlfriend of mine has implants and completes in physique contests, she looks like she has round balls in her chest when she is dieted done. She worries about her implants when doing her upper body workouts, she tends to avoid doing her chest. When she does do bench presses her implants look almost freakish in the way they move. You look very beautiful, toned and strong in the pictures you posted!

You are very athletic - so I think you'll have an easy recovery.
