Hi,
I'm travelling to Bangkok to have a tummy tuck with Dr Pichet. Im hoping someone here could share their experiences with this Doctor?
I've seen a mixture of mainly good reviews along with few unhappy patients. Although I believe you'll get that with any doctor. I would appreciate any information on this Doctor, especially regarding the tummy tucks. Thank you! :)

Hi Jbhsi! I am booked with Dr. Pichet on Tummy Tuck later this year as well. I’ve been waiting for my holiday approval from my boss to book the certain dates. From what I have discussed and exchanged several e-mails with him, I think he is a skillful and honest one. He showed me some of his past works and told me what to expect from my surgery. I’m also planning for Liposuction together as well. In preparation before my surgery, he just recommended me to meet with a nutritionist in order to both prepare my body for surgery and optimize its healing. I’m 40-year-old therefore I need to be prepared carefully before I undergo the surgery. Please keep updated if you had it done with Dr. Pichet. I would appreciate your sharing. Thank you.

I finally went to have Tummy Tuck with Dr. Pichet last year and the result is good. I went to meet with Dr. Pichet at his clinic to discuss my surgery few weeks before and decided about it. He has great skills in plastic surgery. His in-house facilities are forefront and hygienic. The staff at his hospital gave wonderful hospitality care (which I found Thai people in general have very kind and supportive character). Overall, it’s a satisfied experience. Giving 8 out of 10 for overall service from his Bangkok Plastic Surgery Clinic team.
How did your tummy tuck turn out? Was it amazing?

Been living 22 years in Thailand, so I know most of Thais, even more so educated ones, are clowns with big egos. There are a few excellent doctors in Thailand, I guess they are the ones giving all the credits to the other ones. Pichet is well known, I have never had any appointment with him, but at the end, that is the fall trap. Make sure he does not tend to focus more on their own bills than their patients, and the big ego comes in the way. Best doctors usually operate in hospitals (like the Bumrungrad, the BNH and so on), private clinics are a red flag, as most are not equipped for complications. Besides, hospitals have a reputation to stand for.
