Extended tummy tuck in 2014 - still holding up great & scars are well hidden

I got an extended tummy tuck with Dr. Schreiber back in 2014. It's been a while but my tummy tuck is still holding up great and the scars are well hidden under bikini cut underwear and swimsuits. His bedside manner was also very good. The only thing I regret is not asking for lipo for my flanks but everything else including the staff and bedside manner were outstanding. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I am glad that I had my tummy done but now that it is healed up and flat, I find that the fat is being stored in my back :(. I now have a very stubborn patch of back fat that won't budge with daily exercise. I used to love racerback tops and cannot wear them anymore, it is really unsightly. I also find that I could've used some lipo because I look wide across my stomach which isn't the look I was going for but all in all I am glad I did it and would do it again. Can't find a pic right now but I will post one when I get a chance.

I am still very happy with my results! It is a million times better than before but, I have been slacking on my exercise routine and now my back fat is getting out of control LOL!!!!! I'm wondering if I should have had some lipo there too but, I am still very satisfied… Honestly, the recovery was soooo grueling that I wouldn't ever go under the knife again. To anyone considering this I would say not to take recovery lightly because I even stopped breastfeeding because I felt I couldn't fully recover and breastfeed at the same time due to so much stress already being placed on my body. This was my first major surgery so, maybe I am being more dramatic than someone that has had major surgery before but it was nothing to play around with…… I had to sleep in the recliner for a month and a half and I am still trying to figure out how I can improve the appearance of the scars…. With that being said I would do it again just so the questions about when I was due would stop LOL. I will post some pics a little later when my sweet daughter gets home from school.
