Today is my first of three consultations (so far). I'm extremely nervous and excited. Any tips for consultations?

I've had one successful pregnancy which gave me my amazing twins. I am so thankful for them but my body did pay for it. I have always wanted bigger boobs and now have a good amount of extra skin. I'm praying I can get a good result and not have complications.

I am a classic yo-yo dieter so I need to get myself under control.

I'm 5'5" and about 150.

Who are you doing consults with? I'm not too far from your area...I live in Dover, DE. I'm having my mommy makeover in 8 days (super nervous!!!) with Dr. Chris Saunders in Chadds Ford, PA. He's wonderful! I was also looking into Belcara Health with Dr. Cohen, heard rave reviews, but Baltimore would be a bit much for all the post op visits for me. Oh, and I'm same height and weight as you. 4 kids, all older but they've taken their toll on me. Love them all but will be happy to not wear the evidence :)

I just went to Dr. Cohen and I'm also seeing Dr. Sarah Mess and Dr. Jeff Schreiber. I really like Dr. Cohen. I guess I'll see how the rest go!

Dr Sarah Mess was on my list and was highly recommended to me. I've heard a lot of good things about Cohen too. I'm going with Dr Joseph Michaels in Bethesda.

Who have you picked to meet with? I had a list of 9 and narrowed it down to 3. Decided on my 2nd consult that he would be my plastic surgeon and cancelled my 3rd appt. Such a overwhelming process. I picked my ps as he we just clicked and he seemed excited to help me achieve my desired look after 5 babies and weight loss. My first pick and first consult had outstanding before and after pics but I didn't like how some of my questions were answered and how some questioned were skipped over. Plus I really want a overnight stay in hospital as I'm petrified of surgery and my first pick only works out of his facility... up just don't want to go home after all that surgery lol. Hope your consult goes well :)

Second consultation

Today was my second consultation with Dr. Mess. She was very nice and took the time to go over everything with me. Didn't push me into anything else. The down side is she isn't totally comfortable doing my surgery due to a clotting factor I have (antibodies to cardiolipin) so she seemed like I shouldn't have a tummy tuck at all. I am going to meet with a hematologist for details but anyone else have this?? Also her prices were astronomical. So she's definitely out.

Third consultation

Had my third consultation on Friday and it went great. Loved the doctor only weird thing is they didn't have me try on any implants. If that had been my first appointment, I definitely wouldn't have liked that. He was by far my first choice but his quote is the highest price. I'm not sure I can do that much. Has anyone had luck negotiating prices down at all???
