After being diagnosed for a third time, I took my surgeon's advice and went with Steven Rottman, M.D. I can't say enough good things about him. Fabulous bedside manner, very upfront, and has a terrific staff to boot. Always available to answer questions and made the process easier. After having breast cancer once before, the reassurance that I received from his office put me at ease.

After the initial consultation, I knew that I was in good hands. He expanded me about 3 or 4 times and had the implants done thereafter. It was very complex as I had a lot of scar tissue from prior lumpectomy. Dr. Rottman had such a wonderful bedside manner and we did two more surgeries until we were both happy with the outcome. He is a perfectionist and is up to date on all the new products flooding the market, both cosmetic and necessary procedures. There are other doctors who have been doing this a lot longer but as far as I'm concerned, if I ever need plastic surgery again, I won't go anywhere else.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.
