Two months post op

So I'm at the two month mark. Feeling pretty good about my results. I'm able to sleep on my stomach now such a great feeling. Haven't gotten measured yet. Guess I'll wait until my 3 month mark. So the mondor cord is still there but it's not as visible as it was hopefully soon it'll be completely gone. Stop wearing the band at about 4-5 weeks ago. I haven't brought any swim wear yet so I go to six flags and I put on one of my old bikini tops seems like I was busting out of it and it seemed as if everyone was staring at my chest, had a good time though luckily nothing popped out. My follow up visit with my ps is in December.

One month post opt.

Ok so I made it to my one month post op (yay!!!) so everything seems to be doing alright I go to see my ps on Tuesday for my follow up. Still have that mondor cord thing going on I've used the warm compressions and have taken ibuprofen didn't do much of anything so I'll be asking my ps if it's anything else I can take. The pimples have diminish quite a bit I've been using Shea butter it works wonders. Also my incisions are healing nicely my left incisions still have a lot of glue that the ps used to cover the incision he says it'll come off eventually the right most of it has already come off. Still sporting the band and wearing sports bras, the right is softer than the left but they have dropped. All in all I'm pleased with my results.

19 days Post Op.

Well noticed a little change seems to have dropped a little but still have a way to go. I've also noticed that right under my incision that there is a vertical line coming down from my incision like a vein it's kind of sore if I was to touch it. So I went to the all mighty internet to do some research and diagnosis myself as it being mondor's cord. Mondor's Cord appear with firm “cord-like” bands that form just under the skin near the breast. Mondor’s Cord appears when the veins near the site of surgery (the breast) have been traumatized during the procedure. It is the result of an inflamed or hardened blood vessel or vein. It says that it usually goes away on its own and that using a warm wet compress will help the swelling and pain. It's a rare occurrence, with only 1 to 2 percent of breast surgery patients.
Lucky me huh?? But I'll also ask my ps about it next week at my follow up visit. I've posted a pix of what it looks like on me as well as a pix from the internet because the pix I took may not show it clearly. Also I've noticed that I have formed pimples on my chest as well. Have any of you ladies have any of these symptoms? But other than that I'm healing well and feeling good.

Dr. Schreiber is such a great doctor, just his overall demeanor made me confident in choosing him. He was able to answer all of my questions and he listen to what my needs and concerns were. Dr. Schreiber takes pride in his work and made it his business to ensure that I was satisfied. He has a great staff as well. Ms. Jean the pc was very helpful and it was a pleasure talking and consulting with her. I would highly recommend Dr. Schreiber to anyone seeking cosmetic surgery in the Baltimore area.
