31 Yr Old with four Kids Getting a Circumferential Tummy Tuck and BBL - Baltimore, MD

I have been silently on real self for a year now and have finally decided to take care of my body. After four children, no amount of exercise could get my abs back. Here I am surgery is tomorrow and I am so nervous and excited at this same time. I have looked at thousand and one before and after pictures, even though I know everyones outcome is different. I am still hoping to regain my confidence.

Sorry guys, my update yesterday would not upload. I was so disoriented and in so much pain that I did feel like rewriting everything I wrote. So I checked in at the hospital at 8:15am. Urine test was done. Teds was put on my feet and line started. I met with the anesthesiologist who explained to me th meds he would be using to sedate me. After that Dr. Schuster came in and drew all over my body. I said my goodbyes to my husband before I was taken to the operating room. I was down on the table and the last thing I rememb was the anesthesiologist smiling down at me. I woke up in the recovery room coughing because of the tube that was previously down my throat. I the realized that I was lying on my back and the next I heard my self scream for some ice chips and my butt. I remembered that I had the BBL done and they had me on my back. The nurse quickly came and repositioned me to my side. Then at 6pm, I was taken to my room. They gave my d51/2NS and dilaudid iv push. My line infiltrated and they started a new on my right arm. I was so hungry when I got to the room and they me my dinner tray which consisted of soup, jello and apple juice. My dearest husband then came and stayed with me for a while before going home to the kids. After I felt better, I told them to remove the foley which so uncomfortable. I was able to per on my own at 2am. The nurses and techs were so good. The night nurse also showed me how to lay down to prevent messing up my fresh grafts. I have four drains, which are all draining well. I will continue to update you all. Thanks guys for all the encouragement.
