4 weeks post op today and doc appointment. I'm happy but not too happy at this point. Every time I look in the mirror I feel like I'm standing lopsided because Diamond (left) is fuller and to me significantly larger than Pearl (right) although Pearl seems to still be sitting a little higher and hasn't fully dropped yet. Doc also said I'm still a little inflamed on Diamond's side but for the most part where my boobs are is probably where they'll end up being. Let me also preface by saying that preop, Diamond was always a little larger than Pearl and the crease sat a little lower as well. I thought that was fixable during surgery tho but maybe I was mistaken. He also said that any breast imperfections can be enhanced after augmentation. Anyway, I'm hoping that when the inflammation goes away and they fully drop they'll end up being more symmetrical. And surprisingly nobody, not even doc, notices the asymmetry unless I point it out so that makes me feel a little better. I'm officially out of sports bras and measured in at a 32C-D. In clothes, bathing suit and a regular bra I love how they look but dislike them when I'm topless so much so that I avoid mirrors while naked. At this point Diamond's nipple is a little sore which to me is a step above that annoying extreme sensitivity feeling. Although the nipple pasties saved my life. Pearl's nipple is still numb but doc suggested that I gently tap on it a couple times a day to wake the nerves up and today I started feeling the "zingers" in that nipple so maybe that's a good sign that the tapping is working. Im still getting the engorgement feeling and doc also said that will probably go on for a few more weeks. Doc also said they could be softer but with more massage and time they will soften up. Last week I noticed that when I lay down they seem to get a lot firmer but after research that appears to be normal. Reason being is because the muscles are still tense and are holding on to the implant for dear life. But once the muscles relax that should go away. All in all it seems like the running theme for everything I'm feeling now is "give it time" more changes will come.

Diamond & Pearl, boob release party?! xD you are hilarious. They look great so far. Just give them time to drop & settle. I'm looking to have my BA in December. I love reading everyone's stories!

lol everyone I've invited thinks it's a little obnoxious but they're coming anyway. And in lieu of gifts (cuz it's also my birthday party) they're bring bras. I figured it's an easy way to get a bunch of new bras without having to buy them.

FYI

2 1/2 weeks post up and I'm at the point where the numbness, tingling and burning sensation is driving me crazy. Well today I discovered something new about my babies. The above sensations is actually coming from my nipples and not my breast. Don't know why I wasn't able to distinguish from what two areas the feelings were coming from. Welllll ladies, remember when we were A cups and we didn't need a bra to wear a certain dress or top but we needed something to cover the nipples??? What did we do? We bought the cute little nipple pasties and if we were really being cheap we just used band aids from the medicine cabinet. And let me tell you, they both did the trick. It keeps the fabric of the bra from rubbing against the nipples causing the sensation to magnify and radiate throughout the whole breast...thank me later and happy boobies

Yesterday was my 2 wk post up visit, got stitches removed and started using scaraway strips. I have to admit this process was easier than I thought it would be. Although the engorgement, sensitivity and now an infrequent burning sensation that seems like it'll be forever going away is the biggest nuisance of the process. PS said that should last another 2-4 weeks though. He also said that for 2 weeks I'm healing a little slower than others. I know exactly why though. Since the surgery I've truly been acting as if I just had a brand new baby. Tiptoeing around the house, afraid to do anything and just very timid like, out of fear of injuring myself more instead of actually moving around as usual but with restrictions of course. Anyway, I was instructed to start the breast massage which I was dreading because I was still sore. But, I have a secret for you ladies. The breast massages helps with the soreness and sensitivity. The only thing I can correlate that to is maybe after so many hours the muscles get stiff again and the massages loosens them up. I don't know for sure but that's my theory. Diamond still appears to be a little bigger than Pearl but the doc said that once they drop and fluff they'll even out more. Honestly, if they don't even out, I don't even care cuz I love them just the way they are now. Will update again at 4 week post op...happy boobs ladies!!!
