I have been surfing realself looking at other peoples reviews and other women's boob journeys for quite sometime now. I thought it'd be wrong of me to not discuss my journey seeing that the site has been so helpful to me. I have been to a few consultations over the years when I decided I was serious about getting a breast augmentation. Some of the doctors were in town and some doctors were out of town. I finally settled on the doctor I chose because he seemed to be very considerate of what I wanted. Some doctors I've had consultations with were a little too "about themselves" if you know what I mean. For example, I met one doctor who refused to do anything except the periareolar technique even though that didn't make me very comfortable. During the first consultation with this doctor he answered all of my questions and told me I could have implants from around 260cc-300cc at most to reach my desired goal of being a full C. I met with him again one week before the operation and he suggested 260cc or 280cc. I thought it was a little on the small side since other doctors generally suggested 300cc or somewhere around that range. I thought about it for a bit and realized that I chose my surgeon for a reason an that I should trust him a little more.

Surgery Day/ 0 days post-op
I heard that post-op days start the day after the surgery. Hence the title "0 days post-op". My appointment was for 7:30 am, but as most of you who have had a BA or are scheduled for one know you have to be there early. I made it to the hospital at 6am. Hospital staff was super friendly and helpful. I wasn't super nervous but my mother who was my escort felt all the nervousness. Honestly the entire thing happened so fast. I entered the hospital, they asked me some additional questions, took my urine sample, then gave me an IV. Not to long afterwards my surgeon came to greet me and discussed size and the medication I'll be receiving. Soon after that I talked to the person doing anesthesia and was given an opportunity to ask questions. I didn't really have any since I was doing so much research about it before. Before I knew it I was on OR and was knocked out in less than a few minutes.
I woke up surrounded by my mother and my nurse. I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever, it was really surprising. I was speaking normally and able to move by myself. The only pain I felt was when trying to lift my arms, so my mother had to get me dressed. I'm not sure how long I was asleep for but by the time I woke up, my surgeon had another appointment, so I didn't see him. After receiving my medication, I got my discharge papers and was on my way home.
After going home curiosity got the best of me and I took my bra off to see what they looked like. I really like how the turned out so far. Very full and what I expected to look like after the procedure. Originally the Dr. and I talked about 280cc or 260cc. But I took a look at my identification card and saw that I was given 230cc Natrelle silicone in both breast. The surgeon called me that evening to see how I was doing and mentioned he went with a smaller size because the bigger sizes were a little too big. I didn't mind it too much, but I love the was my boobs look now. My main concern is that when the swelling goes down how much will they shrink? I've seen some girls whose boobs "drop and fluff" and get a little more fullness as time goes own. But I have also seen girls whose boobs seem to shrink after the swelling goes down. I hope that isn't me because I love the way they look right now. Perfect for my frame and a nice size. I guess only time will tell.... I will be meeting the surgeon in 2 days for a post-op visit to discuss any concerns I have.

They look nice! What were your measurements? And did you get high profile? The first few days might get a little rough but as long as you get some rest, stay on top of your pain meds and move around so you don't get stiff, it'll be a blur. You might even be one of the lucky ones that feel little to nothing. Best wishes!

Thanks :) I did end up getting the high profile 230ccs. I was wearing a small B, but I could also fit into an A cup (I never got properly measures for bras). I don't remember the measurement he did from my nipple to my fold. But if I remember currently he measured my chest diameter at 11.5 :)
