Im So Ready for This! - Bakersfield, CA
UPDATED FROM NETTAMINAJ1
Ok...
So, my surgery was at 7am. My best friend came out from Long Beach to take me. I went in, got my IV, got drawn on by Dr. Lehocky, spoke to the nurse anestesis, and waited. As I was being wheeled in to the surgical suite, the nurse said she was gonna hive me something to make me more relaxed...understatement of the year cuz thats the last thing I remember. When I woke up my friend was there in the recovery suite. She said I had been moaning in my sleep for the past 15 minutes. I didnt feel any pain till the attempted to sit me up. Oh [RS bleep]! LoL Once we got home, I slept for the first couple days. My mom, a nurse of 27 years, helped me to change the dressings. I got a chance to see myself for the first time, no hanging skin, no saggy flank area. I couldnt believe it. He did an AMAZING job.

Sorry, im late...
Sorry guys. I have been preoccupied with life, you know how that is. But I actually ended up paying off my surgery early and had my pre op on March 1st. I also met with Dr. Lehocky that day for some additional questions I had. Ummm, I left disappointed that day. He wasnt saying what I wanted to hear at all. In hindsight, I believe he was trying to give me realistic expectations but it bummed me out. The nurse that was present could clearly see my frustrations building up. He was like telling me I would have alot of flank skin hanging and when I sit my stomach would still hang over my pants a little...WTF! Thats what I was saying to myself. But, I got over it and set my surgery day for March 11th.
