23 Year Old. 600cc Breast Augmentation - Bakersfield, CA
I am so excited for my upcoming augmentation! I am...
I am so excited for my upcoming augmentation! I am 23 years old (I will be 24 at the time of my surgery), 5'9", 135lbs and am starting out at a 34B. I have always been a "late bloomer" so i was waiting as long as I could to get my surgery, but I've always known it was going to happen. All of the women in my family have large breasts, but they all developed during pregnancy. I, however, have no intention of having children; so surgery it is. I am so incredibly greatful for the support from my friends, family and my extremely loving and patient boyfriend, Ian. My love was against the surgery at first because he likes my chest as is and saw it as an unnessasary risk. After explaining my reasoning, however, he has completely changed his mind and even paid for the surgery upfront at the time of consultation as a surprise (saving $1k bringing my cost down to $6,200).
I have decided on 550cc silicone moderate/high profile sub-muscular. This will bring me fom a B cup to a full D. I will be getting the surgery April 22, 2016, on a Friday. I have a desk job as a marketing director and my physician is confident in my ability to return to work on the following Monday or Tuesday.
I will be documenting my journey on here and on YouTube (Kara C) as a vlog starting after mt pre-op on April 1st. I have been watching videos on YouTube religiously and have found them extremely helpful; I highly recommend checking them out!
I am the type of woman that finds peace in preperation, thus I have all of my post-op supplies purchased and ready to go. Here is a list:
* Wedge pillow
* Overbed table
* Jenny Eden's Recovery Kit
This kit includes EVERYTHING! Ingredients are all-natural, organically-sourced and toxin-free.
* Boobie Bath
* Boobie Butter
* Scar Salve
* Quercetin (Anti- swelling and immune boost)
* Arnica Montana (Anti bruising and pain relief)
* Bromelain (Accelerated tissue repair)
* Protien shakes, juices, broths and other easy to eat foods. (I hate jell-o and pudding)
* Compression, front zipping sports bra
* Front buttoning, comfortable pajamas
* Eye mask and ear plugs to help me sleep during the day
* Transportation to and from the surgery and 24 hour help post-op for as long as I need. (Thank you mama, Ian and friends!)
* Appointments set to get my acrylic nails removed and a mani/ pedi, waxing and hair done. I know i wont be able to do much of these things for a while post-op and I want to feel as much myself as possible in my downtime to ward off the common moodiness after surgery.
I will upload before photos this evening and keep you guys updated in my journey! Please comment any tips, suggestions or questins you may have. I have found talking about it and gaining input has helped resolve any nervousness that pops up from time to time.
Thank you!

I am also getting 560cc's but worried i am going to be to big or too small.
Cant wait to see your you tube journey. Pretty sure i have watched every single boob blog there is already.

2 Weeks Pre-op
A few things to note. I upped my CCs at the last second (Literally. They had to redo the paperwork.) to 600CC. I wanted that little extra after seeing the before pictures the nurse took. I truely recommend having someone else take and print before pictures. I always saw myself differently in the mirror and the pitures were beneficial. I have also been taking multivitamins and extra vitimin C daily and will start my arnica montatna four days pre. I had my implanted jewelry removed last week (ouch) and have made any appointments to help make my life easier for a bit post-op. All of my supplies are ready and waiting, as am I. These next couple of weeks can't go by fast enough!
What a great list of post op supplies! Here is our list of recovery supplies...it looks very similar! ;) You might enjoy the company of some other April 2016 breast augmentation surgery forum members. Hoping you'll post some videos here in your review too!
