Bad beard transplant - it looks very unnatural when I shave

ORIGINAL POST

bad beard transplant

I have had a beard transplant 12 months ago, I’m a bit concerned, because when I shave the transplanted area it looks very unnatural and the hairs don’t get completely shaved off, and leaves my beard hairs looking like black dots and has a pitted and cobblestone look to my shaven beard. That’s what makes it look very unnatural. I’m also not getting a response back quickly and they keep telling me to send pictures and I can’t even have a consultation with my surgeon.

I’m having the same problem. Cobblestoning and scarring has destroyed my confidence. Any update on your situation? To be honest I don’t know what to do anymore.

This is a very stressful situation. I have dealt with it. Suffered in silence. It was a hard lesson to learn. The only solution I was able to resolve after speaking with countless medical professionals from plastic surgeons to dermatologist and other hair surgeons is to have the follicle removed via electrolysis. A big issue is the follicle size particularly the double or triple hair follicle implant in one site. It leaves a huge bump at the surface. No skin treatment and remove it. Its the implant itself. This is the truth all doctors hide from their clients who get this procedure unfortunately. These doctors know this happens very frequently to clients but ignore it as much as possible. It's criminal.
But take great solace in the fact it's fixable, remove the hair and the bumps and cobblestoning are gone. I hope this was helpful in some manner.
