Vobella Under Eye and Juvederm XC for Lips. Horrible Experience

Still present lump and dark bruise

I was looking for a confidence boost after having my second son. I wanted fuller lips and well as filler under my eyes. I did research and viewed before and after photos and decide on Dr. Harper. I thought I asked all the correct question and that the person doing the injection had plenty of experience. On September 13th I meet the Office staff and the doctor at The westside Lady Gala. The staff was very helpful and guided to which Juvederm fillers I would need or want to choose. My appointment was on the 24th of September. The appointment was with the Doctor not the nurse. Before Pictures where taken and then the doctor came in and talked me through the process which was nice. The results looked very nice when I left the office. I was not given any post op instructions just told that I might have some swelling and bruising. After two days I noticed that I had bruises under my eyes and lumps in my lips. I called the office and spoke with Dusty she informed me that this is normal and if the lumps where there after two week then I would need to come in but I wanted to have them looked at. I had four lumps on my lips when I smiled the lumps were even more pronounced and the bruises under my eyes just got darker. I went in to the office and the nurse Sandy talked with me , I told her my lips were uneven the right side was smaller then the left and the lumps where very pronounced. The doctor came in and said it was all normal that I need to rub the lips to get them to even out and if I want the lumps gone then I need to have the filler dissolved. Two more weeks later three of the lumps have gotten smaller but one in the center of my lip is still there, my lips are very uneven one side is more full then the other. I called and spoke with the nurse and she was very short with me almost to the point of being rude. This is my face everyone can see. I did this for me and to look great on my anniversary and I look even worse make up will not cover up the bruises. The doctor stated that he could not tell a difference and that he did not see any lump in the center of my lip but advised that he wanted to put some Hyluronic acid in to fix it but only a little. ( what do you know he knew right where to put it. In the lump that he couldn't see ) I also spoke with him about the bruises under my eye. He told me that it was allergies and that it Is to be accepted with fillers and that it is just what you get when you do fillers( three weeks later bruise still present dark not lightening or anything). Also told me to got to gnc to get a herbal pill to help with bruises. I left the office crying to be told that is the what you get for getting fillers was horrible . Then to add to it he told well see you when ever we see you. It was horrible. I'm left with uneven lumpy lips and Tyndall effect under my eye from poor administration of filler. All the money I paid wasted and there was no compassion only excuses. I had another doctor take a look at everything and I was told that the Tyndall effect will last for one to two years, and that the filler was not placed in the correct spot. I want to love this office. Kelly was amazing and super nice she did my dermplan and peel. Almost all of the before and after pictures of fillers are of the staff.
