1 Day Post Op + Before and After Pics
Hello Realself world,
I got my sx done yesterday. And I must say that I love my results. So first off Justin the driver picked me up from the airport and he is super cool. He dropped me off the Serenity Recovery house. The house is very clean. There were 5 girls here when I came and everyone is getting along. Everyone is very supportive of each other. And Grace is one of the caregivers. She's awesome! She is real and down to earth. All the food is homemade and everything you need to recover. If you want snacks, soda , additional things like gauze etc...then you can get a ride to the store to pick some up.
Anywho, I met Dr Salama the day of surgery and he answered all questions and I felt like he didn't treat me like just like a number, but a person. I told him I wanted a hour glass shape and he delivered! Also he is able to create the shape of the waist like this because he pulls your sides in toward the front. Unlike other docs who just cut your tummy and pull everything straight down all over. Grace said I'm doing well and she never seen anyone as strong as me after a tummy tuck as I was able to eat and walk the first day. Walking is very important after surgery! All and all I am so glad I choose him and can't wait to get my bbl with him next year. I posted before pics and after pics. One of my sides do look bigger than the other but I'm still swollen, but overall I'm in love with the results. Until next time take care and leave a comment, I'll try to answer any questions you guys may have.

WOw you look amazing!!! I too want to go to Dr. Salama for a tummy tuck. How much did the procedure cost in total?
OMG! You look amazing! I'm from Atlanta. I'm scheduled with Dr. Salama for September 21. Please answer these 3 questions for me because I WANTED WHAT YOU GOT HONEY!
1. Did your tummy tuck include lipo of the flanks & if so, what area was considered your flanks?
2. Did he lipo any part of your lower back?
3. What is your height and what was your weight before sx? (If you don't mind answering)
THANKS & CONGRATULATIONS GIRL, U R BANGING! Happy Healing Sister!

Typo*** I "WANT" WHAT YOU GOT HONEY, not wanted
Hi. Yes it included lipo of the waist and flanks. The flanks are like the back sides like where there is a muffin top. He didn't lipo lower back. I'm 5'6 and was 170 before surgery. You will love your results honey!
thanks! I'm sure I will!
You really are Thestunning1. Your result is amazing. Dr. S hooked you up. Praying that you will have a speedy uneventful recovery.
Thanks so much!
You look awesome !!!!! My question is can you have the bbl and the tummy tuck the same day.
I am from Tennessee can you send me his web site or his contact information.

Hello everyone. I am a mommy of 3 and in much need...
Hello everyone. I am a mommy of 3 and in much need of a body makeover. I going to have a tummy tuck and bbl. I initially was scheduled to have sx with a very popular doctor in Atlanta, but after doing more research and viewing his work, I was not impressed. So I continued researching and decided on Dr. Salama. His work is great and I think the shape he's able to create on women is very nice. It seems his lipo is more aggressive creating a better overall look.
I called and spoke with Cynthia and scheduled my sx date. She was very nice and informative and answered all my million and one questions. I let her know I just cancelled with another dr but could only get the surgery between middle of July and beginning of August. She was able to give me a date of August 4, only 3 weeks later. I was super excited lol. However, she did inform me that I can't get the tummy tuck and bbl at the same time. I was slightly taken back at first because thats a whole other trip i have to come out of pocket for. But i do understand the logic behind it as with a tummy tuck you can't lay on belly and with bbl you can't lay on your back. So getting them done separate makes for the best results so I can't be mad. Salama suggest getting the tummy tuck first. And my bbl is scheduled for January. I've also spoke with Zuny and she is also a sweetheart and informative as well.
Im flying in from Georgia and will be staying at the recovery house for 10 days. They also have a driver who will pick you up from the airport as long as you fly into Ft. Lauderdale his name is Justin. My preop with Dr. Salama is August 3. I'm very excited and nervous at the same time.

Hi. I'm from Atlanta. I was seduced for a tummy tuck, bbl, and lipo with Dr. Duran in the Dominican Republic for July, 29 (yesterday). I changed my mind at the very last minute though and decided on Dr. Salama and paid my $600 deposit immediately. I hope I made the right decision. He's had quite a few burns ( major ones ). I didn't realize that until after I paid by deposit and docusigned the deposit agreement. I find that on Realself, you have to be specific when typing into the search bar. For example I typed in "salama tt" and "salama bbl" and saw beautiful result after beautiful result. But when I typed in "salama burns" I saw some scary stuff. The 4 cases I saw all seem to have happened in 2013 and they were third degree burns that were caused by the heat from the lipo wand, not from compression garmentst. None the less; I wouldn't want that to happen to us. Not wanting to frighten you, but what do you think?
Thanks for listening....
Thanks for listening....
TYPO ABOVE...... I was *SCHEDULED in the Dominican Republic, not seduced!
Hi newbodyon9. I know exactly what cases you are talking about, I saw the same ones. Call me crazy but I saw them and still decided on Salama. I guess because all the doctors have their handful of bad results but the rest of Salama's work is on point. There was one case that was about to be a deal breaker for me. She got an infection from her burns, but she didn't get her burns checked out until after 3 whole weeks, which is why it got infected. I talked to Cynthia and she reassured me that it'll be fine and said that chick should've gotten it checked out sooner and used the burn cream they offer, but she didn't . So it also has a lot to do with how we take care of ourselves postop. I'm super nervous and scared cause I want it to come out perfect. But I'll def post updates to keep you in the loop :)
Thanks for responding. I've been checking him out on zocdoc, healthgrades, and a couple other sites. He's well qualified. I'm still going to him. I'm going to ask him about the equipment that will be used to perform my surgery and the potential for burns before he gets started. I think then he will know that I am at least aware of those cases and hopefully he will take extra care not to burn me. Most importantly I am going to pray and ask my Father for specific results; to wake up happy, to have a 26 inch waste;') by the time I hit the 3 month mark, to not gain weight back in that area, to have a speedy recovery, safe travels, His presence in the surgery room, and to NOT GET BURNED. He seems to always give me exactly what I ask Him for so that is my plan. Happy Surgery sister!
Good luck to you on your surgery, i' m having TT in next month with dr. Salama. TT scar are placed pretty low i'm sure you will be very happy. Looking forward to pictures speedy recovery well wishes.
Hi Brooklyns_finest. Thanks and good luck with your tt as well. I will post before pictures before sx and soon after.
Girl you look amazing. He snatched that waist innnnn!!!

My TT for 8/13.
