NERVOUS and EXCITED at the Same Time -Aventura, FL

I returned to work this week. I have a pretty sedentary job but I should have listened to my friends and family and taken this week off as well. I do a lot of typing at work and my boobs have been hurting. The pain is bearable. I have another appointment tomorrow with my ps to hopefully take out my last drain. It has been draining over 25 ml so it couldn't be removed with the last one on Thursday. I have been having sporadic pains in both my stomach and boobs. I think it may be that I am over doing things. I plan to go home and rest tonight. I am still taking antibiotics because of the drain I have. I am still very swollen but I see the results. I will post pics tonight.

Yesterday I had my second post op visit with my pa. He said everything looks good except my belly button had a little opening. He sent me a different antibiotic cream to put on. I am still sleeping in the recliner. I think I might try my bed tonight because my back cannot take it anymore. I made my first trip to the bathroom alone with no help. It's the little things in life that count. :-) Lol. Still using the funnel because my toilet seat is too low. Yesterday, when I got back from the doctors I fell asleep on the recliner. I must have slept wrong and have a terrible pain on my left shoulder. drinking plenty of water and walking to see if it is a gas and will go away. I was cleared on Tuesday to take a shower. However, today I will take a complete shower and washing my hair. I hope to be able to shower alone. :-)

Had my surgery on Monday and thankfully everything came out good. I have gone to one follow up with the doctor the day after surgery and I have another appointment today at noon. I always read on this site how you need to have a support group in place. Thank god for my mother. I still can't use the restroom all by myself. I am able to walk around for short periods of time. My back ends up hurting so much if I stay up longer. Did not think I would use the pain killers but I have. I feel this pressure on my boobs that is very bothersome.
