First massage !!
So today was my first massage! I took a Vicodin 40 minutes prior to the massage. Celia was my massage therapist. She was very sweet and explained everything. She first started my masage with a machine for the first 10 minutes then she proceeded to do it manually . let me tell you I am sure the people in the waiting area heard my scream! I felt a burning sensation in my lower back! Is thst normal? Had anyone experience the same feeling? It did get better as she continue to massage that area but that initial burning sensation was hell !! Anyways i was very happy when it was over!!
Let me tell something I learned today about me and vicodine!! It appears it does the opposite effect on me. See yesterday I had a great day! I didn't require pain meds, I did take Tylenol for a low grade fever. I took a vicodine because I was having this massage and let me tell you an hour into it, I developed a severe headache, I became jittery, nauseated, and my heart began to race and was shaking! My husband and I came to the conclusion that it was the vicodine making me sick this whole time! Thank God I don't require any pain meds at this point !

I did not know vicodin would cause those kinds or problems. Yikes - glad you figured it out and I will now know if I have that reaction. Thanks for sharing your story. I am 2 months pre for FL, CO2, & thigh lipo - also scared.
Yes it is a rare reaction that only a small percent experience. My heart was racing so fast It was making me short of breath !! It was an awful feeling!! Who are you going to have lipo with?? You will be ok as long as you are not going to these local chop shops.
