1 Week Post Op!
I must say I am so happy with my decision and with Dr. Hanabergh's work!
As you all know I got a BBL well technically a "Gimme More Hips" BBL according to Dr. H lol.
My surgery date was originally 9.21 and i got moved up a day the week of surgery which i was more than elated for especially because it was an even number 9.20 woohoo! ????????
I arrived at New Life about 30 mins early went and signed some docs then was taken to the area where Doc H and some nurses were. The day of surgery was when I had my pre-op. We did the pregnancy test and such then I was taken back to the room where Doc H asked what I was looking for. I had my wish pics lined up with people that were shaped like me and had the results I wanted but I ended up just telling him exactly what I wanted - low hips, no shelf booty, fill out the dents in my butt & remove all the fat that he could in my back, stomach, and flanks before moving to the thighs. (I didn't get thighs done because of the amazing job done to my stomach and back!)
Meeting w/ the Anesthesiologist
Meeting the anesthesiologist was cool he only asked a couple questions and then I was basically told to go to the OR.
In the OR the anesthesiologist informed me to lay on the operating table and then they put the IV in at first my heart was beating fast because I couldn't believe I was truly doing this! Then I started singing Jesus loves me this I know and before I knew it I knocked out.
Waking Up From Surgery
Waking up wasn't bad at all, I literally woke up feeling like I had a bomb ass sleep and I was still tired. The nurse told me I slept for an extra two hours almost. I woke up on my back and was not freezing much as they had a heater on me and put my socks on plus the dress i wore was long sleeve. Then I was waiting on the driver for the recovery house, the wait and me feeling anxious as if they forgot about me made me start feeling super cold but the nurse did her best to warm me up with extra blankets and moving the heater around.
After Surgery
I was finally picked up by the RH driver & taken back to the RH ???????? I will not get into that butttt I will say I was doing everything pretty much on my own. I was not feeling any excruciating pain or pain in general. I felt extremely sore and only a little nauseous getting out of the car. I took my oxycodone the night of surgery and not because i needed it but because of how my roommates at the RH were reacting I was just hoping it would stop pain if there were any to pop up.
Left the RH the day after (hallelujah ????????) & had my post op massage at New Life which was not bad at all. I was sore and tender so the massage took a little getting used to but it was good nevertheless. Since then I've been back home and got my daily massages from Sarah and been walking and taking care of myself for the most part (with the help of some of my friends that check in on me daily).
Overall on this day 7 I feel great! My tummy is retracting really well and I'm just waiting to finish these antibiotics! Also waiting to resume working out ????

September 20th
My BBL was rescheduled for September 21st due to low hemo in August but I actually got moved up 1 day which I'm soo happy for.
My surgery was scheduled for 11 am today and I'm currently at the recovery home for the night. So far so good though. I haven't really gotten a chance to take a pic but my roommate at the RH said my ass is fat, so i'll take her word for it. I have not taken my pain meds yet & i'm not feeling much pain more than the fact I feel sore like i worked out really hard and bleeding a lot
