1ST BBL with Salama, 2nd BBL Procedure.
breaking up the cellulite to prevent denting
My first surgeon (Dr.Roberts, NC) did break up the fibrous bands that create cellulite dimpling before he would do the fat injections...basically he would do what is called cellulaze , so the results would be better. This is not something Salama did or offered when I went for 2nd surgery, and I think it would be terrific if he would. I am not saying I am unhappy, bc my results are an improvement for sure. For all I know this might be something he now does or maybe offers in a separate session, I have no idea... However, I am now certain that all people getting bbl with any cellulite at all, even a single dent, would be better off getting the fibrous bands broken up/cellulaze type procedure before the bbl, for a smoother dent free outcome. My previous doctor did not charge at all for breaking up the fibrous tissue, it was all part of the cost, and was the same price as Salama fyi.

1 year bbl post op w/ salama, before and after
Sorry for such a late update. Very busy, work a lot, kids. 1st BBL done with Dr.Roberts in NC, he has since retired. Waited 2 years later for revision since most of my fat (guessing 80%) of fat absorbed. gained 25 pounds for procedure which I kept on for Salama revision last year. Doctor and nurse friends told me however that my waiting 1 year post op pics will give a more accurate pic of results to show. So here they are!
I will note my experience at Salama was terrific. He is an amazing surgeon. Very to the point and straight up which I like. I also am terrified before going under and he and his team made me feel right at ease. I highly recommend staying at the recovery house. Just makeI things easier. About one month prior to surgery I loaded up on vitamin C, iron, calcium, Arnica montana, pineapple and papaya enzymes, vegan proteins and turmeric. I really think this helped me recover quickly and easily without much stiffness or soreness. The itchy awful compression garments drove me nuts. I almost think my skin might be allergic to the fabric, they were awful. 8 weeks of wearing those things was a short trip to hell. I would take the post massages right after surgery any day than wearing the garments, yet I know they are necessary for shape and compression.
The staff was fantastic. All of them. Especially the nurses at the recovery house. They checked on us constantly and wanted to tend to our every need. They were so sweet and accommodating to all our dietary wants and needs. Just amazing. Justin the driver was super helpful to all of our errand running needs, and his adorable fun personality I think made it easier and less awkward for all us ladies that were sore swollen stiff and stuffed into compression garments with drains all over the place.
I did have one small issue where I left a brand new pair of tennis shoes there, just some chucks. No biggie, not that expensive, but it went on for months where Nomie said they would be shipped back to me, and I even offered to pay for shipping. The shoes were not that big of a deal to me ..I just thought it was a lot of unnecessary confusing back and forth emails. Also, I stayed in touch with many of the girls I was down there with, and one of them brought to my attention on her facebook that her friend suggestions happened to be certain individuals from the office- with name changes and different statuses than they talked of when they were around us. We just thought it was funny, a little odd, but we are sure they have their reasons. We just thought it was kind of weird to see those faces months later pop up on phones with different faces and stories, and many of us work in the public eye and actually one on one with clients so we totally understand privacy, just done differently I guess.
Anyway, I do love my butt, it is an improvement from what I had before. However, I wish I had more hips. I don't know if it would be considered a BBL if I just got fat injections to hips, bc I want to be safe and don't want to be unsafe getting a 3rd surgery.

I just had the BBL with Salama and I have to say I...
I just had the BBL with Salama and I have to say I have gotten the best medical care I have ever experienced, topped with an amazing booty:) I will recommend him to anyone and everyone I know considering cosmetic surgery...here's why:
About 4 years ago I had BBL with a surgeon (before Salma) who has since retired.
I have always been a petite girl large in the front (breasts) but wanted to even out the curves in back (butt). My first surgery 4 years ago I gained 25 pounds for the surgery....and in about 6 months most of my volume was gone except for at the bottom. I still longed for hips and projection. 4 years went on, and I actually kept on my weight hoping I could redo it some day. The 1st doctor had told me that some people must do it two times in order to accomplish their desired result, and for the fat to stay.
Finally, the day had come I could afford the surgery, and the time to go on vacation while family helped with my children.
I had four years under my belt of researching doctors. Dr.Salama blew everyone out of the water as far as I'm concerned. His patients get beautiful results. Most importantly, I was impressed with his concern for very monitored post op care. Safety, Cleanliness, and Comfort are extremely important to him, and that is what sold me.
He had me do extensive labs and provide medical history, not just get clearance from a doctor. I was given a long "to do" list that took me a few months to finally complete in order to have the surgery. This also included updated pics, more labs, weight check, items I had to purchase for post care...This was a little more thorough than my first experience. I was impressed. This made me a lot less nervous for the surgery, which this time I was going solo, not with a family member like I had done the first time. Which brings me to the icing on the cake....
Dr. Salama's wonderful staff set up every detail of my stay including transportation to and from appointments, my massages (I didn't even know to get them the first time), all meals, and lodging at Dr. Salama's Recovery House. Grace and Lourdes were my caretakers and were the sweetest, most attentive and hard working women I have ever met and actually made my surgery stay ENJOYABLE. It was more like a mommy retreat for me, not a boring or painful experience at all.
I am a vegan, so I was a little worried I would be be a pain in the butt with my diet requests, yet Grace and Lourdes were very accommodating to me, actually to everyone. They bought and and made delicious food with options everyone could eat, they did laundry and made beds, all while giving all patients exceptional post op care. From help with putting on clothing and garmets, bandage care, taking meds, showering and even going to the bathroom...these ladies were amazing..But most of all being so warm and delightful to be around. I just love these ladies and I believe they have made me heal faster from their care.
My butt, 6 days out is now full and round, with projection and hips which I lacked before. My butt is beautiful..I love it!
Pics to come......

some people identified me personally, I guess based on clothing, background. I can upload new ones in a day or two when I am home from out of town. ok?
**ahem**
LOL! no "problem" here boo boo, I just call [RS bleep] when I see it but if it makes you feel better.... lol thanks 4 the laugh
If you scroll up, people already saw my before and afters. I am over a year out. Took pics in my home and clothing, unique to me. I send a lot of people to this website when we discuss our experiences or things we've had done which I am not shy about, however I don't need my personal background home rooms clothing or obvious pic of me out there. So, like I said for the 3rd time I will repost for those who haven't seen yet. How can it be [RS bleep] if I have already posted and everyone saw? In any case, please keep negativity and drama off my page I don't appreciate it, take it somewhere else. I come on here to look into things like everyone else, get answers and help others as I go through my own experiences. There really is no place on this whole site for pot stirrers. Girl Bye!
