When I arrived back home, I still wore my garments. I continued to take my arnica for swelling and found a local lymphatic drainage masseuse, receiving 4 massages a week. I would say about half of my volume decreased with the first two weeks. It was still pretty big and I was praying for the swelling to go down. I still experienced numbness, especially in my stomach area that faded after 6 months. After the swelling subsided I lost about 85% volume, which I am pleased with. It matches my thighs perfectly and looks very natural. I have pretty bad dark raised scars where my drains where and dark scars from the incision marks-under my butt, top of butt, arms, back. If anyone has suggestions on how to lighten or remove these scars, please let me know!

I do have a small dent in my right cheek that I am unsure if i will seek another round to fix. Also my right cheek has settled differently than the right, and in some angles can look fake. Overall, you have to really stare at my butt to see the little things that I'm pointing out. I am extremely happy with my results from Dr. Salama and recommend him to anyone, especially the skinny girls with small thighs. I had a pleasant experience from he and his staff and hopefully with his growing notoriety, he will expand his staff, get a bigger office and more chairs in the future lol.

After the surgery, my ass was huge! I did not know how I was going to return to work there next week towing that thing on my back. About the fifth day the pain was gone, but I still experience discomfort and of course numbness. The bleeding stopped on the fifth day and my wounds began to heal and close two days after the procedure. The 8th day my drains were removed and I boarded a plane home.

By the time I left, I was walking fine and was able to walk through the Fort Lauderdale and Atlanta airport. I sat on my bobby pillow and wore my compression socks, while moving every 20 mins.
I could not be more happy to be home and in my bed!

The first massage was absolute hell! I have never experienced anything like that before, and Ive gone through child birth. I could hear and feel the crackling of the fluid as the nurse flushed my system. She nurse that does the massages are wonderful, she is very nice and makes you feel comfortable. She also makes sure to not harm you and will stop if you can not handle the pain.
