15 days post op, updated pictures and i feel great, Aventura, Fl

Good Afternoon Ladies I hope all is well. Today I am 12 days post op and this have definitely been a roller coaster ride. I do think i had a pretty good recovery looking back, but it was hard as hell. iv'e been putting off doing a review because i have so much to say but Goody2shoes convinced me to update. Lets Start from the day before surgery

7/16 The day before surgery I went into the office and I met Jennifer, Naomi, Ruben and Nancy. Dr. Salama has the most AMAZING TEAM!! I signed paperwork with nancy and she gave me some arnica pills and we talked and she and Ruben made me feel so comfortable with everything. I was told that I had to be at the OR at 10:15 the next morning.

7/17 Surgery Day I arrived at the OR at 10:15 with my two best friends. I didnt get called back until about 11:45 and i was getting cranky because I was hungry. I went in the bathroom and changed into my gown, compression socks, surgery undies and headed to meet with Dr. Salama. He was laughing at me because my friends and I were being silly in the waiting area and he could see us from the OR lol smh. He marked me up and i showed him the slope that i wanted in my back but other than that I did not show hom a wish pic.I asked him if he didnt like wish pics and he said its not that and i asked if it was that some people are unrealistic and he said yes. I AGREE 100%. I waked in the surgery room and was greeted by monica the OR supervisor, shes so sweet. I layed on the bed and she put my legs in thiese things that massage your legs during surgery and i wasnt nervous at any point, its crazy. I met Craig who was my nurse anesthetist. He was very sweet and I told him I wanted to be comfortable when i woke up. He told me that was the plan. He did the Iv in my hand and tolf he that he injected something and to let me know when i feel it. I was looking around about to ask what exaclty was i suppose to feel and i dont remember anything else lol. I woke up briefly and i was laying next to Dr. Salama and he asked if i was okay and i said yes and went back to sleep. The next time i woke up i was about to fall out of my wheel chair because someone didnt put the brakes on the damn thing smh. ANywhoo i was in NO PAIN whe i woke up, i felt great.

I've been trying to update but it's been getting deleted, I'll update when I have the energy. This process is a roller coaster ride and me personally wouldnt do it all over again. Because I already had a decent body. This [RS bleep] gets real bad then it's real good again. I took my front drain out myself last night because I was in excruciating pain------ no exaggeration. I had surgery Tuesday and it's Sunday. So I'm 5 days post op
