Lipo and Booty - Aventura, FL

Dr. Salamas office is the best. I have alot of experience with plastic surgeon offices due to that almost everyone i know has had some type of procedure and most of these offices are only nice to you up till the time they collect your money and have performed the surgery. NOT Dr. Salama's office. They are the most professional, kind and considerate group of people. I've had to go back at least 7 times and everytime I go, its like the first time. I am due back next week for my after pictures. Before surgery i was a size 8 (tight around the waist) and now I am a size 4. Some pants, because of the booty, I have to wear a size 6 but regardless I am excited and happy with the outcome. The day of the surgery, I printed pictures of girls from Dr. Salama"s web site and expressed my concern. i showed him what I didn't want and what was my hopeful expectation. And eventhough nothing can be guaranteed due to mother nature, I actually got what i wanted,......a natural hot looking booty!!. My lipo was a complete success. I have never had a small waist as I do today or even a curvey one at that. I had lipo in my inner thighs and arms. Like any other surgery, positive thinking and patience is key. I regretted every minute of the surgery from the day I got home (in Miami) and for 5 days after due to the drainages and of course the pain. But nothings for free. No pain , no Gain. The person who reffered him/procedure to me, did not go into details on the recovery process. Supposedly, this person had gotten the surgery a few days before and NO WAY could that be possible, not after knowing what I know now. I guess that is something I would have wished I knew beforehand.The massages they suggest you do is imperative. They are $50 each and very necessary. If you don"t have a budget set up for the massages (they suggest 10), don't do the surgery. The recovery process is essential to how happy you will be with the results. The massages avoid blood clotting and liquid build-up between the muscles and tendons. Tight Girdles are also a must!!. After lipo, your skin is loose and for a nice tight skin, you HAVE TO wear a girdle to sleep ( at least for 2 mths) and a girdle throughout the day for at least 3 mths. I know people that wear a girdle up to 6 mths and only not wear it during the weekendsor to sleep. The girdles they provide you with is great for post surgery. They will eventually be loose. You need a tighter one. Don't feel as if you have to buy more. Those particular girdles can be taken in in areas you need by your local seamstress or tailor. Remember, you now have a bigger booty and a smaller waist. You now have the same problem Kim Kardashian has....lucky us. After a couple of weeks, you can change the style of girdle. I wear Colombian girdles. ( thats what they are called around here because they come from Colombia). I wear a looser fit to sleep ( usually the post surgery one works for sleep) and a nice tight one throughout the day. One of a few girdles I have allows your butt to be displayed and it goes down the middle as a thong. And if you wear it with linen pants, watchout!! it looks as if my butt has boxing gloves. lol. These Colombian girdles are tough on the skin and should be able to be tolerated after 2 wks of surgery. My only regret (con) is having done my arms at the same time as everything else because a girdle for the arms has to also be worn and since you can't sit for a mth and you should sleep on your stomach, putting the arms over your head or under your head as you sleep and it is difficult and uncomfortable. I had to sleep for a mth on my sides. Help at home is also essential. At least for a week while you have the drainages on. a healthy meal once a day even if its a small portion is important. I ate apple sauce ( 3 spoonfuls) and soft foods and was very weak but on the fourth day, I have chicken and lentil soup and immediately felt better. Be prepared also to feel weak even after feeling better. The yo-yo feeling of feeling better and then weak and then better is horrible if you don't know to expect it. I drove about 2 weeks after surgery but with the seat pulled back a bit because its hard to sit straight with a bobby pillow and a tight girdle. Everyones outcome and take on this is different but definintely you should want this really bad. A butt lift (fat transfer) is not to be taken lightly as well as lipo. Dr. Salama is agressive and strives to make you happy as he should. You will appreciate his great efforts after 6 weeks.
